Reds vs Blues 2021

@kiwimurph Yes that too, and his distribution too. Teams are basically in our faces by the time the ball leaves his hands because he's that split second too slow letting the ball go.
-
Gee Akira is an enigma..ignored numbers to his right and then does not roll away ..but can be dynamic in the next instant πββοΈ
-
Fair to say Clarke Dermody was spot on when he described us as a South African type of side haha.
-
Kiwis are absolute masters of fucking around at the breakdown. Barely ever roll away, always have their hands on it, if they tackle they never re-enter properly.
And barely ever get picked up on it.
Meanwhile Aussies overcommit on one uncontested ruck and lose it the next one. No ability to read the play.

So dominant in many situations but errors early and lazy at ruck time.

@steven-harris He's made the odd mistake out there, but he's dominating in the collision. Every time he goes into the tackle he knocks their runners behind the gain line, something that he has over other loosies in this country.
-
@african-monkey the not rolling away penalty was due to Heem driving him forward. He's been hitting rucks well, and Blues are getting quick ball. He should've passed that from the scrum break, but people will be ultracritical of him.

What the actual fuck was from the ruck though?
Akira gets over the gain line.
Otere jogs over and throws a horrendous lollipop pass go Ofa who shells it.....

That was a poor read. Set up a big overlap and then ignored it
The ginger midget has been reading his own press from last week. Too slow to rucks. Too slow to make decisions and too poor in execution.
Blues would destroy teams with a decent halfback feeding the ball to Beauty.

@african-monkey not questioning what he does well, but the key for Akira is to also to adhere to the basics and make good decisions 95% of the time ,not 60/40..heβs good enough no question .but itβs the sort of stuff that are absolute coach killers
