"Can Harrison add the extras. Its a very respectable scoreline for this Warratahs team..."

Actual commentator quote at 54 - 28. Oh well this trans Ta$man comp is what it is.

Can't think of anything remarkable to say about the game.

On a side note, and hopefully to gain some cultural knowledge:
David and Sione Havilli are brothers. Can anyone shed light on why Sione has an added surname? Sione Havilli Talitui. Is it simply different mum's perhaps?

@siam surprised there was no mention of it, pretty clear.

    Maybe he will get cited!

Excluded from the ABs will do😁

That blue 13 would have to be the green and gold 13 wouldn't he? Reminds me a tiny bit of Digby Ioane they way he hits contact flat out. Impressed.

They're not related at all according to this source:

Havili, who is no relation to Crusaders fullback David Havili, is fresh from helping Ta$man win their maiden national provincial title.

    Are you sure about that?

I've never heard they are brothers.

Sione was born in Tonga and Dave in Nelson.

    @bobily2 that'd explain it, thanks.

Could have sworn David has a loose forward brother called Sione but I guess not that loose forward Sione🙂. Or, I've been misinformed. My bad

    Someone should tell Wikipedia....😉

I think there is a guy called Willie Havili who has been on the fringe of the Ta$man team. I'm sure someone else knows more - but might be him?

Merhts on Crusaders games isn't the best idea.

Should put him and Marshall on a game together

    They'd drown in Jism

    Maybe not a bad thing

Marshall goes out of his way not to jism over the Crusaders, to the point where he is slanted against them in his commentary.

True, that's what he's saying, not what he's doing

Even though these games seem just above competitive training runs, it’s still interesting watching the contrasting styles. The Tahs (and other Aussie teams) seem to play very narrow in attack. They are overly obsessive when the ball hits the deck to try and snaffle at the expense of their defensive line.

Crusaders didn't get to 60 = moral victory to the Tahs.

Graham Cooper's performance with the whistle was amusing. Yellow card to replacement crusaders prop "yeah see ya mate".

Reece is a fucking clown I might add. Should have been a penalty back on halfway.

That’s a fucking low bench mark Tahs didn’t get 60 points on them just 54.

Bugger me, that is George Chakiris!

He was leader of the Jets on stage and leader of the Sharks in the movie - man the fella could dance!

He is 86 now and still working, but as a specialist jeweler (ramping up his lifetime hobby). He ceased acting in the mid 1990s, after those stellar performances on the stage (two years on the West End) then on the big screen in 1961. Much of his subsequent work was on television.
