I still think the blues selection have helped the Saders
Should have started Akita for one.

Akira’s work rate has been very low.

Blues were poor, but saders certainly helped them with that. Nice rest for them before the final

Congratations to the Crusaders. Ruthless stuff from the champions.

So much hype about the Blues this year, mostly from their own fans, but yet again they failed to deliver.

    What?

He has the second highest number of runs and second highest run metres for the forwards, and he’s only played 25 odd minutes?

Edit: 7 defenders beaten (easily no. 1) plus two offloads and one clean break

    And no missed tackles.

@chris Akira has been way more of a threat than Blake Gibson was ..taking chances keeps you in the fight and causes indecision against the best of teams ..

Perofeta not once had his position challenged this year.... sums it up.

If they can bring in Barrett and give Zarn a chance next year, this team could be really dangerous. Halfback is still a concern but the Blues have/will have the cattle to be the best team in the competition.

Nock and Christie are fine. Even Ruru. The Blues problems are wider and more general than a single position.

True but I think the selections hurt the Blues they lost rhythm.
Now the Chiefs May rest players but if the Blues win with a bonus point and deny the chiefs a point. They can make the final
    On points diff
So a dilemma for the Chiefs maybe a risk to rest players.

Dude Ruru is not fine. The guy cannot pass and has dodgy hands. And a bad decision maker. As a 9....

Without Moody, a wobbly scrum, no AB centre, halfbacks that still make silly errors, poor discipline that cost us 3 points too often. Very surprised we are leading the comp.

And for a ‘defensive’ HB, he apparently missed the most tackles for the Blues tonight (3)

Edit: updated number of missed tackles, still equal first.
