2015/2016 Premier League

Spurs didn't lose. Spurs looked ominious. No pressure Foxes!

5 points back with 4 games to play ... Looks like Vardy is going to have 2-3 games on the sideline too, so their main source of goals is unavailable.

Speed wobbles!
-

In answer to Booboo - goal difference is the decider if level, and Spurs are way, way ahead on that. So Spurs need 5 more points than Leicester over 4 games - Leicester need 8 points to guarantee it.

Leicester v Swansea

Spurs v WBA

Expect 2 home wins here, oppositions with nothing to play for.

Man U v Leicester

Chelsea v Spurs

This could be the pivotal pair of games, both tough fixtures.

Leicester v Everton

Spurs v Southampton

Both winnable games - both potentially tricky games to win.

Chelsea v Leicester

Newcastle v Tottenham

Really hard to call these so far out - will depend on Newcastle's status.
-

Thanks KP

I just have a bad feeling about Leceister fucking this up.

Which probably means they're home and hosed ... ever watched Fever Pitch? "Fucking Arsenel"

Tell me, when was the last time Tottenham won? -
That long ago?

As i mentioned above I was a fan from the Ardiles, Villa, Hoddle days when they won back to back FA Cups. Thought they may have gone close.

Normally I'd be backing the team that hadn't won for 55 years as the fairytale. But not having won EVER trumps that. -

They've been known as a cup team, a team with a soft underbelly since then. If LCFC falter vs Swansea or Yanited and we beat Chelsea it's all on -

Here's a stat - who would have believed this at the start of the season

The Manchester teams and Chelsea (most people picked one of these 3 as title winners) have lost 29 games between them. Last season it was 18.

Leicester, Spurs and West Ham have only lost 13. Last season it was 46! For anyone who has followed football this past 20 years or so, that is a crazy stat.
-

Spurs got WBA tonight - thats a banker for them, unless they start to feel the pressure, which I highly doubt.

I had dinner with a few poms last Friday night, all lifelong football fans, they all agreed Spurs were going to win all their last 4 games and it would be up to Leicester to win it, not have it given to them.

So that basically means 2 wins from the last 3 games, or a win and 2 draws.
-

So for Spurs to take the title they have to win their last 3 games and Leicester lost their last three.

That would be the Leicester who have only lost 3 games all season.

As Rage says it seems to work out to max points from 3 games for Spurs plus no more than two draws and a loss for Leceister -

The remarkable thing about Leicester is that they are winning this title going away. After the weekend of 18 Jan, 22 games in with only 16 to go this was how the table looked.

Arsenal 44

Leicester 44

Man City 43

Spurs 39

United 37

West Ham 35

So since then the points have been

Leicester 13 32

Spurs 13 30

United 12 22

Hammers 12 21

City 13 21

Arse 13 20
-

Leicester draws at Old Trafford

All eyes on Chelsea Spurs. If Spurs don't win, I believe Leicester win the title

Watched my first game tonight for about 6 years (used to watch it every weekend in the early 2000's as there was nothing else on

Forgotten how skilful they all are. The ball control. I only played a couple of proper games but the way they make it look so easy on tele compared to playing even at a spack level is astounding

Can't believe I'd ever say "Go Chelsea"
