@ACT-Crusader The biggest story will whether AD recovers.
Man - I love Steph and Klay, but I hate Draymond with a passion. His theatrics, the shit he gets away with, the constant barrage at the refs. He's such a fucking tool.

When the commentators acknowledge that Green can do and say what he likes on the court the game is fucked.

Tatum wakes up in the 4th quarter (after an awful first 3 quarters) as Celtics force a Game 7.
Jokic and the Nuggets are on their way to the Western Conference Finals, destroying the Suns.
It's come out that former Warriors coach and ESPN commentator Mark Jackson didn't have Jokic in his top 5 for the MVP award. He's come out and apologised, calling it an oversight. Hard to believe you'd forget the 2 time defending MVP on the number 1 seed.....

Barkley unleashing was hilarious.
One man’s oversight is another man’s racism…apparently 😀
Suns had no answer for Joker and either of the Warriors and Lakers will struggle against him also.

AD looked pretty dazed after the hit and then the footage of him leaving the locker room after the game. But the latest report is that he has “avoided concussion protocol”. NBA protocol is mandatory 48 hours from diagnosis.
Not a huge fan of AD, but he is the most important player for the Lakers and he has been very good in the playoffs so far.
I didn’t mind Draymond and actually enjoy his podcasts, but the whole punch on Poole (not that I am fan of his) has made it unenjoyable to watch him this season. I don’t know why it just irks. In terms of him getting away with stuff, he does get a lot of rep calls as well. A bit like Boogie and Sheed in times past.
-
Rep calls? You rough calls based on his rep?
If so, I’m going to have to massively disagree with you there mate. He gets away with murder in my eyes, the holding on d, the taunting that others get t’d for, the constant barrage at the refs, the pulli bf people down with him, the flipping. It’s just constant non-Bball stuff and it’s shit to watch
Which is a such a shame because he’s a generational defender and amazing to watch playing point-forward in transition especially

Phoenix have some big decisions to make in the offseason. I think it is fair to say CP3 can't be depended upon to make a deep playoff run, and Ayton doesn't seem willing or able to play the role they want him to play. The Suns gutted their depth to get HD, I think they need to try and get something for Ayton. They also need to get some more capable role players and shooters to put around Booker and KD

Warriors also have big decisions
Klay Thompson today: 8 Points on 3 of 19 shooting from the field.
Doesn't appear he is going to come back from all those injuries good as new... Curry played an excellent series. But his supporting cast let him down

@canefan whilst simultaneously invalidating the resting season.... I mean regular season....
Load management already did that. Hard to maintain intensity with all those games

Meanwhile, LA and MIA could make an unlikely reunion in the finals. Of course there's a lot of ball to play before then. But a 7 and 8 seed advancing would appear to validate the play in system wouldn't it?
Hope not.
I’m all in on the Nuggets.

Nuggets look like monsters. A huge step up for Lakers.

@KiwiMurph best starting lineup in the league IMO.
On Klay, just seemed he was trying too hard. He had built up the whole playing his old man’s team for the first time in the playoffs.
Dubs basically got something from DiVincenzo, limited from Looney who was dealing with illness and nothing from others.

JJ had a great segment about Klay discussing why he was struggling, talking about the movement to a pick and roll offense cutting down on Klay’s easy looks. He’d usually get a few points and into the game on cut lay ups but recently the only time they could fed him those was if they got going in transition. It was one of the best segments I’ve heard lately as others were just saying ‘Klay needs to get going’
Edit: here.

Interesting. Feels like a bit of a cop out to me though for 2 reasons:
- Klay is a good cutter, but he’s a terrible finisher under any kind of contest. He just doesn’t have good touch at the rim, and he’s actually a terrible dribbler (have you ever seen him beat a guy going either way from the perimeter and get all the way to the hoop?)
- He got a HEAP of really good looks last night. Lots of the Warrriors did in fact. Those are shots he expects to make whether he’s had a layup or 2 prior or not.
I love Klay, he’s one of my favourite players and personalities. But he was just plain terrible last night

That was filmed before yesterday; what I liked about was at least it was a commentator actual trying to put the lack of form into a wider context than just ‘he’s shit’ which is essentially all we have got so far.
JJ is great, lots of time for him.
