Cool moment for T-Wolves fan - they've had it rough.
How much better is full crowd NBA playoffs compared to the bubble/restricted crowds.
Huge atmosphere. Towns gets a chance to show what he's got in a full series

@mariner4life Regular season points totals before todays games
Minnesota For 9387 Against 9167
Clippers For 8752 Against 8800Will worsen a bit with Minnesota currently getting woopped by Chicago.
cool story
now do it for the 31 games Paul George was available.
also what was the head to head this year? 3-1?
Which now becomes three wins to two thank you, but one of the two Minnesota wins was in the game that really counted.

great game but Minny look home on the back of Russell and especially Edwards late
George had a big 2nd half but no help and that last shot was a stinker
How fucking good is playoff NBA? Some of the play i have seen today has been awesome.
Lol and as i speak PG fumbles and then drains one from teh carpark. too little too late though
It's a completely different sport from the regular season, which has become barely watcheable

Hawks shooting the lights out. Hornets shooting terribly. And thus the margin is getting big

@mariner4life meanwhile Towns can only look on and wonder who has the most pea sized heart between him and AD
I’ve never been a fan of KAT, even back when he was a Wildcat. Didn’t think he deserved #1 pick even though it was a very shallow draft class. But I must say this season he has sort of grown on me with some of his play. I think today he was trying way too hard and he did some dumb things and got himself into foul trouble.
By the way just a useless but interesting fact - the top 2 picks of that 2015 draft are now teammates (KAT and Russell)
-
Spurs are getting torched
CJ McCollum had 29 in the first half and it's getting ugly
Pels keep this side together and add Zion and they could turn out to be a problem

That was some 3rd. One of the more efficient shooting performances from the Hawks that I have seen.

You need some new tea leaves 😅

I just tuned in late to watch a rollicking end to the cavs hawks game. Trae Young is amazing. Everything runs through him on offense just like his draft day trade mate Luca. Like Luca he is so smooth and more often than not makes good decisions and has all the shots. Atlanta will erase a double digit half time deficit to advance at the expense of the young cavs who had a season that exceeded expectations

I still love playoff NBA, but man the end of close games are hard to watch. The endless FT's kill me. I'd like to see the "intentional foul" rule back, 2 FT's plus the ball back if someone fouls you when not making a genuine play for the ball. And maybe a second tier of team fouls in a quarter, where the penalty gets worse (either 3FT's per foul or 2FTs plus ball back)
I dunno what the answer is, but when the last 25 seconds of a close game lasts 15 minutes, it's not good for the sport.
-
@voodoo and I think it’s gotten worse. Today being down 9 with 40 seconds to go is seen as very gettable given the way teams shoot the 3 - and it doesn’t have to be T-Mac vs Spurs crazy either!
Not sure what the answer is either but it can’t be too contrived that it’s different from how the rest of the game is officiated.
Love the intensity in most of the playoff games so far. Good to see a bit of niggle too.

This celtics v Nets series is going to be epic
And it's only the first round!

Could only watch bits and pieces, but the fact that only lost by 1 away from home and the parts I watched KD was struggling with his shot, should give the Nets a bit of confidence.
I do like the Celts though. From that time after Kyrie left and Tatum and Brown were basically competing with each other on who was the man and both were playing some very selfish basketball. Now they play very good team ball and Smart is a huge reason for that.

Steph with a nicely efficient 34 points in 23 minutes
12 of 17 from the field.

This game was very much like ‘the old Warriors’. Was quite fun to watch in the background trying to work!
Splash bro’s + Pool(e) went 13 for 28 from 3. There’s no helping off or you will get scored on.

Dragic has come off the bench breathing fire.
This is a good game
