For years I have being hearing about Conway the domestic run scoring beast. Personally I don't care if other people were previously in front of him due to residential status and the politically right thing to do is follow protocol. If the guy is that good and has the most recent runs on the board, pick the best player. I am sure others have a different opinion? Am I wrong though? Is Young better?
If guys like Young and Nicholls keep up their level Conway will have his chance soon enough
Its not like we play tests that regularly as it is, I hope Young comes out and score a double ton as I have nothing against him, purely about just pick the best player if available
They need to keep Conway involved, he looks the goods

Kane in doubt for the second test depending on how his wife's pregnancy goes - she is due shortly.
the fuck Kane?
planning a baby for summer? You. Are. A. Cricket. Player.
I like to think that once all the games in March got cancelled, he just went home and said to the missus... "well, cricket's done, let's get a-fuckin'".

I thought Southee was the VC but it must be Latham for the tests.
Time for the rest of the top order to perform as they can't rely on Kane's runs.
Rossco is due a massive score and it’s only the Windies. Calm the farm

Unfathomable that they are not playing Conway in this test. He is 29, we aren’t talking about a young rookie here that needs to be eased into the test arena.
Young's first class record has been very good over the last few years so you can understand why Stead has been loyal and chosen him ahead of Conway. Nicholls might be the player who Conway eventually replaces (leftie for leftie).

He'll get a hundy now that he's just been dropped, and buy his place in the team for the next 2 years.
