Canterbury v Auckland

@taniwharugby so why did Taranaki finish ahead of Northland, given same competition points and the Taniwha won the head to head?
-
@bayimports ,I know , how crazy , to be honest I have enjoyed watching the Mitre 10 cup more than following the All Blacks ..I think of all those Fringe players Foster pulled out of the comp ..for What..?.somebody to hold a hit shield , like that’s worked out really well ..🤦♂️

@ACT-Crusader yeah we won the head to head, so we head to Otago next week, they get HB again
edit: the table doesnt show it like that, it just shows points diff (they mentioned in the Cant-Akl game the semi times which confirmed the M10 table shows wrong)

Come on bro, I know there’s a pile on for ol’ Fozzie, but given the unique circumstances of the Bledisloe and RC and the fact we couldn’t fly anyone over to Oz during the comp, extra resources for the AB camp/squad was going to occur.

Have to disagree mate. With Covid and the travel restrictions etc, a big squad was needed. Look at Australia and Argentina, they have similar size squads and SA were going to do something similar before they pulled out.

@akan004 I am at the stage , where everything thing is so geared and molly coddled around the ABs , and every other level is compromised I really don’t give a damn, I am far more engaged with Mitre 10 and Super Rugby ..still have not seen the Puma test ..

I can understand the NPC, but being engaged with franchise teams over the ABs just seems weird to me.
Slight diversion, couldn't you find two more bloody points Auckland? The rest of us would have thrown you a parade!

You are possibly the luckiest man in NZ. Don't watch it.

From a SR contract perspective. Fihayki looks like he could become something really decent with an added kicking ability.
Prinseep was Hugh for Canterbury along with Lienert-Brown and Romano.
Was very impressed with Sullivan he looks like he could go along way.Presley Tufunga and Terell Peita look promising too.
Rayasi is an AB in the waiting big X factor player.
