Hawke's Bay v Wellington

ell done to the Bay unlucky to our welly boys ..poor start couldn't get back up from a lying down position. Sone the old man needs to chill.. such a flop
-
@Canes4life Reed Princep never was or never will be an All Black and neither will be Wes Goosen and James Blackwell for that matter. JGB barely warrants selection at Mitre10 Cup level and don't get me started on the favoured Wellington players that make up the front row. I do not use the work prop as that would be an unfair description that would not be considered by any court in the land should they get charged under the word prop in a trades description charge.
That takes care of Messrs Flanders, Evans, Rakete-Stones, Lowe, McLutchie, Walker-Leawere and Cridge for starters. -

Nah, he's not, his team just won a shield match.
-
@Machpants thankfully we have Manawatu next week.
-
@Canes4life You must be shaking in your boots at that prospect!

Good luck, I don't know who I dislike more between the two of you but I'd like to see Canterbury relegated.

The Shield now comes with "licence to be a fluffybunny" vouchers?
Sweet.
EDIT: Shit, now I realise why they're preventing Ta$man from getting a shot at it. Imagine the levels of @Chris-B 's sore-winner-ness with the Shield vouchers to amplify it. -

Sweet.TBH, I think his fluffybunny-ness helped nullify the Wellington comeback.
Plus, we play Baker every week so we've always got a fluffybunny on the park.

I’m off, well played HB. Much better side today. Enjoy.

@Nepia haha I hope it’s the Cantabs. Fuck sake, we probably deserve to go down with the way we’ve turned up the last few weeks.
You actually played pretty well in the 2nd half.

@Canes4life Thank you!

@Kruse Neither Kurt Baker or Taulamolo will be there next year.
Sounds good... If Ash Dixon cuts down on the being a sooker-ball player when it comes to ref-back-chat... I could probably feel comfortable being a Magpies supporter again.
But anyways... I only caught the last third of that match... congrats the Hawkes-Magpies.
-
@Machpants Wellington should be safe with Manawatu next week. I can see Canterbury getting up ove Auckland next week, beinfg desperate, at home and with all Auckland's apparent injuries. That leaves the loser of the North Harbour v BOP game to go down. Bonus points could have a say.
-
Told you guys it'd be safe for the summer!
Fluffybunnies 🤣

If you're complaining about Ash rightly pushing his team's case then I would prefer if you do not become a Magpies supporter again.

Next weeks last round going to be very interesting
I reckon
Wellington will beat Manawatu
Canterbury will beat Auckland ( only basing that on Aucklands Injury toll, I think Canterbury will treat that game like a final )
And it will come down to who ever loses the Bop v Harbour game ..
Thoughts people ..? -
@Kruse What do you mean "again"? We only have life long supporters that support the team through thick and thin, and believe me there have been plenty of lean years interspersing the good ones hence the reason why we rejoice in the odd win we scrap out every so often.
