      Really enjoyed that show

I think a lot of us did. My earthworks guys were just talking about it too. It was compulsory viewing...that might have been from their wives though.

The physical and mental health links seemed very obvious.

      Inspirational and nostalgic. Very cool.

One of the telling comments early on was Pita Alatini talking about how he was dropped at a time that he thought he was at his peak playing form and had no explanation so had problems processing that and it led him to some bad choices/dark places.
I hope the NZRU were watching and took note. I would like to think that mental health is looked after these days but recent Ioane(s) examples seem to indicate more work needs doing.

I hope they get them back the following year to show progress, or even get another bunch of guys on. Not sure how expensive it was to produce, but was good TV IMO

Surely there’s no shortage of ex ABs who’d be keen ?

I wonder what shape some of the ex Black caps are in?
We know what Smithy looks like so maybe not.

Smithy is about the same size as the last two AB coaches. Obviously follows them on Instagram for fitness and diet tips

There’s a precedent in the UK with Harry Redknapp and ex-England footballers, with series in consecutive years

                      Match Fit

All Blacks legend Sir Wayne 'Buck' Shelford and World Cup winning coach Sir Graham 'Ted' Henry are making their comeback bringing together a new team of All Black greats, and challenging them to get back in shape physically and mentally for a grudge match of epic proportions. Made with the support...

                            that last ep was great!

Really enjoyed this show, more as it shows these guys who were our heroes, have thier struggles (mentally, physically) and are just blokes like us at the end of the day, just a wee bit better at rugby in thier prime.

Sensational last episode. Great to see noticeable improvements in loads of them and as we’ve mentioned earlier Flavell, Alatini and Howlett especially should make sure they save Fozzies number into their phones judging from their conditioning.

I remember an article on Brad Mike back when he was playing. Something along the lines of him being the kind of guy who only needs to lick a postage stamp to put on weight. Will be interesting to see how he goes.

Glen Osbourne was looking fighting fit when I strolled past him in Welly last year though !

Good to see Inga, even though it is a little bittersweet.

@Dice Heartbreaking to see Inga TBH. Seeing such a man brought to embarrassment at his condition was hard to watch at times. Glen Osborne’s comment to Inga that he had never played with him but was honoured to be there alongside him made our lounge a bit dusty.

After watching last night's episode, I think Kees Meeuws is that ball carrying prop the ABs have been missing.

The lads played an East Coast side on this weeks episode and then I see tonight that the East Coast Rising series kicked off which covers their 2021
Season. A pretty good watch really
