Cameron may not be on the Crusaders retention list for next season.
Harmon because there is a gap at 7 with Hunt going to the BluesWho do you think the Crusaders would prefer to keep?
Harmon or Havili
Cameron or Burke -

Meanwhile, going the other way, Shannon Frizzell??
Where have you heard that?
There was some noise around this recently. Makes sense when you become aware of the background to his Ta$man and Highlanders contracts, and also as suggested above, Grace may be groomed to play 8 (he started there on Friday for Canterbury).
whats the deal with his contract? this has got me freaking out and pray its not true
-
@African-Monkey I don't think they'd have to choose between Cameron and Burke. There will be room in the squad for both, unless they'd prefer to sign a youngster like Campbell Parata or another prospect. In that case, one of them will have to go.
It will be more a matter of Cameron being happy with just being in the squad, getting a few minutes of game time per season and possibly being overtaken by Burke soon, or Cameron preferring to move elsewhere to try his luck.
Same with Harmon and S Havili. Christie seems to be the Crusaders frontrunner for the 7 jersey, so Harmon and Havili are battling it out for second choice. Harmon is off-contract; Havili probably not (he only just got his first full contract this year; good chance that it's a two-year contract).

Assuming you're referring to Frizell: his contract duration has not been published, but my guess is that his contract has expired.

@Stargazer i read it yesterday, googled it when @shark first mentioned it, expires this year but he's said he'd like to stay...just not where

Cameron or BurkeHavili and Burke is what I would prefer.
I don't think Cameron is up to SR and I like Havili he is a physical player hits hard. -
Confirmation Harmon is with the Highlanders now
This was in a stuff article:
The Crusaders have lost flanker Billy Harmon to the Highlanders and, unsurprisingly, they’re set to lose more fringe players as they pursue minutes elsewhere.
Harmon only played three games (two starts) for the Crusaders this year, and on Wednesday told media he signed a two-year deal with the Highlanders after the red and blacks didn't put an offer on the table. “I’ll be honest, there was only one option,” Harmon said. Billy Harmon has signed a two-year deal with the Highlanders after appearing just three times for the Crusaders this year. Billy Harmon has signed a two-year deal with the Highlanders after appearing just three times for the Crusaders this year. Highlanders coach Aaron Mauger, whose own future remains up in air, told Stuff last month the Dunedin-based franchise had 10 spots to fill, so it’s no surprise they’ve been sniffing about.

i know nothing about him, any good? i expect a certain level coming from the saders
-
Yep hes a good no 7 abrasive good pick up for you. Surprised the Crusaders never offered him a contract.
-
@Chris He's quite small, isn't he? Even for an openside? And has had quite a few injuries, the last few years? Good player though. You'd think they only let him go if they have found a better alternative, or intend to convert a blindside into an openside, or something like that.

He is a bit small but he a 100% player so good pick up
Knowing the Crusaders not offering him a contract means they have an alternative lined up somewhere not a 7 but there is talk around Canterbury rugby circles of Frizell coming to the Crusaders,

If Bryn Gatland decides to move North, the Landers should go after McClutchie. I doubt the Hurricanes will be smart enough to sign him and the Landers have the benefit of already having Fakatava in the squad (assuming he's staying). I think there's an advantage of having a half-pairing that also plays together in Mitre 10 Cup.

No they can have Brett Cameron we will pay his plane ticket down there.

@Stargazer i do like combinations sticking together, if hunt is 10 back up and we're tlaking about a third choice that might not get a lot of game time i wouldn't mind someone young and local like when we had quasie
