Weirdly I think the only team that can beat them is the 49ers, as they almost did in 2020. An oddly shaped team that can do weird things, even if their QB is at best league average.
Their luck runs out soon surely. So many weak wounded duck balls thrown
I love Jimmy G's attitude. But if Rodgers was QB imagine how much more dangerous they would be? He is good for an INT a game, doesn't seem to have the capacity to look far down field, and isn't mobile enough or lacks the instincts to escape pocket pressure

but aside from that, he's been to a Superbowl, and may bounce into another...

Absolutely. He's a good QB on a strong team. He had a lot of help against GB

Well that's both my guys out in the first week! Gotta decide on a team to back now for the rest of the play offs.
I reckon anyone other than the Bucs (just becauseโฆ).
My picks for the next few games:
Rams v Cardinals
Titans v Bengals
Packers v 49ers2 out of 3 and the Titans were right in it.
So who yโall* got for the conference champs?
Chiefs v Bengals
Rams v 49ers -
@act-crusader unless the Bengals or niners pull a miracle, got to be Chiefs Rams. Would be a tasty bowl
-
@act-crusader the 9ers have owned the Rams of late. Any run will inevitably run out. But not this weekend hopefully ๐

Chiefs 49ers rematch.
The defence and the running game can carry them through to the SB. But to win they are going to need more from Jimmy G. Or the D are gonna have to take out Mahomes. His penchant for throwing INTs will cost them eventually. Why can't he toss the ball away instead of throwing off balance into a crowd?

Let the Rams fairytale continue, I say!

If they do it I would like them to win it all. Stafford gets his redemption

Stafford
Von Miller
Aaron Donald
Their deliciously soft underbelly
I'm on the Rams bandwagon.

Jimmy G goes all the way and leaves town victorious ๐
That thought has crossed my mind

Regardless of who wins, SF should try and grab Rodgers if he wants to leave (if GB don't keep a win now team around him he will want to go) and delay Lance's promotion to the top job for a bit longer
Rodgers is still under contract for one more year - meaning to go anywhere he would need to be traded - there is no way Packers trade him to the 49ers of all teams.

Sean Payton has stepped down as Saints head coach. I imagine he'll be back coaching in the league in a few years. Saints are in a tough spot with a bad salary cap situation and no answer at QB.
That makes 9 head coaching jobs available right now with not one having been filled yet - nearly one third of the league.
-
He was a great coach, but man, that 2017 draft class must be close to the greatest of all time. Lattimore, Ramzyck, Kamara, Williams and Hendrickson. Incredible. The flexibility having five plus starters on rookie deals really helped the Saints who were in cap hell then (and are in cap hell again now). Going to be an ugly few years as they rebuild unless they can pull something like that off again.
