First game was great, came down to the last play
Second game a beat down. Bills, and especially Allen very impressive. The Patriots just don't have the weapons
-
@mariner4life lots of drops, but the defence got shredded.
I reckon most of Bill's difference is consistently building high quality defences out of largely journeymen players.
Going to be an interesting few years in that division if Josh stays healthy
-
One play call (QB sneak with 7 seconds on the clock, 41 yards to go and no time outs) may cost Mike McCarthy his job and Kellen Moore his shot at being a HC next season. That's about as bad a call as I can remember. Dak probably should have gone to ground sooner though, the TD was never on so he was just eating clock.
That said, the 49ers D was doing a great job of blowing it too. Cowboys had to go 80 yards in 30 seconds with no time outs and 49ers had zero interest in covering the sidelines.
-
couldn't believe it got close in the end! good playoff game.
The one before it not so much
and this one looking like a blowout as the Chiefs are rolling on offence. Kelce fucking moves for a big unit.

How did Chiefs v Steelers end up?
Am not an NFL aficiendo like you dudes, but WFH today sat for lunch and watched a bit of this leading up to half time and Mahomes was just owning it.
7 all to 21-7 in blink of an eye.
-
Chiefs Steelers game shows why this chiefs team is so scary. 5 minutes into the second quarter Mahomes had thrown a pick, the Steelers returned a fumble to lead 7 nothing, looking like the chiefs aren't able to figure out the Steelers defence. Then the Chiefs offence found their stride and by half time (ie 10 game clock minutes later) they're two scores ahead and looking unstoppable.

Well that's both my guys out in the first week! Gotta decide on a team to back now for the rest of the play offs.
I reckon anyone other than the Bucs (just becauseā¦).
My picks for the next few games:
Rams v Cardinals
Titans v Bengals
Packers v 49ers -

@mariner4life dare to dream for the 9ers to get over the Packers.
Anyone but Green Bay!

49ers rush D need to get to Rodgers early and often, because if he gets going their pass D won't be able to stop him

Winner of Chiefs vs Bills wins the Superbowl. Chiefs are $4.50 and Bills $5.50 with Sportsbet.
Whoever wins face the winner of Titans/Bengals (yuck), and then likely one of the Packers or Bucs. It's a very achievable run for two teams that look pretty motivated.

i sorta want the Rams to win
Von Miller for another ring
Aaron Donald is all sorts of awesome
Stafford's reward for years of slaving away in Detroit.
But i don't think they can, there is an underlying weakness there that i can't put my finger onTitans have proven resilient but are they good enough at QB to win?
It's gonna be fucking Brady again isn't it?

Stafford is a turnover machine. If he can stop that for a few weeks they are a big chance

maybe that's it. They just seem to falter at key times.
