apparently only partially human. Not the most talented QB, but goddamn he knows how to win. It's scary.
Hoping (but not expecting) a massive KC comeback now

If you had to choose one player, in their sport, to play for your life (e.g., Steph Curry to shoot for 3; MJ to score in the last 30; Wilkinson to land a dropkick), it would be very hard to go past Brady and Superbowl.
Is he the best professional sports player, ever? [Even if the doesn't win today?]

Bucs defence is doing an amazing job so far.
Chiefs get the ball after halftime though so halftime adjustments will be interesting.

So this. I hated him, but I just can't now. He's so good that I can only watch and shake my head.
He's older than me, and [right now] on track to lead his team to a Super bowl. Fucking, wow.

@gt12 Tiger Woods circa 97-08 shooting a birdie. Guaranteed money right there!
is that a euphemism?
Also, Fournette just scored, that should be the game.

This will be the topic on sports talk shows for the next week.
All about narratives.

Is it just me or does Mahomes look like he is still carrying an injury? Doesn't look to have his usual mobility.
so many drops from his receivers. Nt sure they'd win, but goddamn they'd be in the game right now

@nzzp their offensive line have been absolutely destroyed too - he's running for his life.
spot on.
Throws have generally been good - just not connecting or getting rythmn.
Amazing from Brady. At 43 in this league to put up that quality of performance AGAIN - you just have to congratulate him and marvel at it. Still annoying though, fuck TB12

Huge lesson for Mahomes and the Chiefs offensive line tonight.
Bucs really didn’t have to do anything special in offence and just let Brady and Fournette do their thing.

Pretty impressive Bucs defence. Bowles will likely be a red hot candidate in the 2022 HC cycle. The question is does he move on, or wait to take over from Arians.
The sensible thing would be to find a good landing spot and move, this Bucs team is 100% win now and will almost certainly need a major rebuild in the next couple of years. It would probably be a repeat of his Jets experience. But HC roles normally become vacant for a reason, so starting in an environment where people know you and have confidence in you might be a good choice.
I liked him when he was HC at the Jets. Some of the issues were definitely on him (game management, and adjusting from running the defence to being the 'CEO') but there was also an awful front office situation and he never really had the talent to be genuinely competitive. I'm hoping that he'll have a successful second stint, landing in a slightly better spot and learning from his mistakes at the Jets.

Made the same comment to some mates, its like a Benny Hill sketch watching him run away 40m backwards!!!

Superbowl MVP at 43.
Seven rings - is that more than any other team? (Edit: Yes)
Talk about high fucking standards.
Not a bad effort considering how in demand he was two decades ago in the draft.

Goes to show how much of a crap shoot drafting players is. But his lower position helped him land with a great team with time to learn under a great coach. Does he realise his potential if he gets drafted higher to a poor team? No one will ever know. He commented often over the years that his pick position helped drive him, and I guess it is almost impossible to assess how much will, heart and guts a guy has
