Jones is known for being so patient as an owner though...
It's not his lack of patience, he kept Jason Garrett for long past his end date. It's his ego, he basically got rid of Jimmy Jones because his standing was too big

Must feel good for Goff - beats the team/coach that didn't want him.
well, you know, stafford is better. And the Rams won a SB.
I think Goff is just going to have to own that one.
The points aren't mutually exclusive

Still gotta feel good

A tale of 2 seasons for the Eagles
10-1 before playing the 49ers
Lost 6 of their last 7 games including getting destroyed today.
The loss of both coordinators in the offseason really hurt the Eagles.
Perhaps head coach Siriani might not be so smug now.

That's some fall from grace

@KiwiMurph well beaten this afternoon. Baker had a seirously good day out, despite the fact his receivers dropped everything he threw at them.
Some upsets! I'm still not sure about the second wildcard team, but Green Bay and Bucs turned up bigly.
-
well that was a very surprising weekend of football, and the additional play off teams looks like a masterstroke.
Texans over the Browns not a suprise, but the margin was
Chiefs owned the Dplphins, but conditions would have had a heap to do with it
Packers smacking the Cowboys no one saw coming. A couple of junk time TDs doesn't change the fact it was 48-16.
Rams v Lions was a classic, and a great result for long suffering fans
Allen beating the Steelers not in any way a surprise
The Eagles getting smacked by Baker Mayfield in the Wildcard round would have paid a lot of money in week 7.You would expect the Ravens and the Niners to get the job done, but those young QBs have no fucking fear.
The other two games look like genuine 50/50s
One conference is going to send a very young QB, Baker friggen Mayfield, or Jared friggen Goff to a SB
The other side is probably sending one of the 3 best QBs in the league -
@mariner4life I enjoyed it. Was not convinced about 7 seeds at all, but man they stepped up this year. Good to see.
Eagles just fell apart. Love is good - I have had to revise my opinion upwards. Detroit stoked, and rightly so - they've built a team of gritty players and win lose or draw fans will support them.

49ers found a way to win
Cripes what a game
Finally Shanahan is able to dial up a 4th quarter come from behind victory.
Huge effort by the Packers - they should be in the mix for years to come
That was tough to watch. I was worried when Shanahan went away from CMC and leaned on Purdy to throw them to victory. The final 49ers drive, on the back of a brilliant pressure and intercept from the defence was great, Purdy coming up with a couple of outstanding throws

After watching the Ravens this morning I think everyone is playing for 2nd
-
another really good game, but that TD should see Detroit home.
-
but jesus Baker Mayfield is proving himself, Bucs won't go away, that was a great drive

Happy for Mayfield. Talked a big game but ultimately failed to live up to expectations in Cleveland, which isn't difficult. Seems a lot more relaxed in TB

6th straight AFC Championship Game appearance for the Chiefs
Throw in two Superbowl wins and a Superbowl loss, considering what success in the NFL looks like, that's one hell of a run.
