@nzzp Nobody "liked" Malone did they??? Respect sure, but he was the most boring player that ever lived! That "hand on my ear" dunk, the same 12ft baseline jumper, shoot me now!!!
effective baby,
FFS if you live in Utah, that counts as flamboyant Plus, I was new to the NBA at the time, so a mate and I fell into the Jazz

Wilt Chamberlain. Great centre who got me into playing after a I saw a couple of films about him
Also responsible for the immortal reply of of "I clean giraffe ears" when a thick reporter, not noticing he was wearing a Lakers shirt, asked him what he did for a living,

nice shark!
C David Robinson
PF Tim Duncan
SF Michael Jordan
SG Reggie Miller
PG Allen IversonI've cheated a little to move MJ to the SF spot.
I don't know if my team would succeed in the modern NBA, but it's players i like rather than a team that is built to win
There would be a lot of chat

I'm intrigued by all the love for David Robinson! He wouldn't make my top 10 fav centres!

@voodoo I gotta include a lefty in there.
Good to see plenty of players from the 1980s in there.
Here's another team:
C Dirk Nowitzki
PF Kevin McHale
SF Larry Bird
SG Jerry West
PG John StocktonHmmm. And your Second Team might be Porzingis, Jokic, Hayward, Majerle and Doncic....?

The Admiral! Championships, a scoring title, a quadruple double and a legend during an era that had plenty of great centres, come ON!

Nah. You could choose some old-timers like Cousy, Havlicek or Barry. Thunder Dan? His team mate Tom Chambers was better.
Chris Mullin would be in there, maybe Mark Price or Steve Nash at PG.
