@Chris-B You make it sound like a lengthy tour. It's three games in a week, 3.5 hours away (add a couple of hours to Hobart I guess). Makes sense to have a balance in your 'spares', for sure, but one batsman covering five and five specialist steamers covering three spots is sensible. Sodhi providing cover for Santner though? Doesn't ring as true for mine.

I guess we'll see - but, I'm not convinced Sydney offers enough to the spinners to warrant us playing two of them.

Well, maybe if we're undone by spin in the first game.

I think it's likely enough that we want to have both spinners on hand just in case we want to go that way on game day. I don't think we take two spinners unless we think there's a chance we'll want to play both of them.

That's how it looks to me, too.

Lochie Ferguson told me about the teal when the poor fluffybunny got stuck next to me on a plane last year. The shirts themselves are actually quite a flattering fit. If I didn't think wearing cricket supporters gear was so tragic, I'd buy one.

@KiwiMurph That's a lot better than them canning it.

Sucks if you have tickets, but most of us won't.

Feel a bit sorry for the athletes NOT getting to play in packed stadia.

They will truly understand how Australian Rugby players feel.

    Confirmed.

New Zealand's three-match one-day international series against Australia will be played behind closed doors, Cricket Australia (CA) announced. The Black Caps will now play two matches in an empty Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday and Sunday, with a third match against their trans- Ta$man rivals scheduled for next Friday in Hobart.

Just get the most annoying person you know to play with your stereo for 7 hours. Will like being in the actual stadium.

Kane's luck doesn't follow him when he leaves NZ. Aust wins the toss and surprise, surprise, will bat.
