Speaking of YCs, Meg Ryan crying for one for a player slightly held back halfway up the field.

Penalty is a reasonable outcome for the push and shove.

Aside from two horrible missed tackles on Reece, the Crusaders have struggled to score points here.

That penalty could be the game.

Edit: for the second time, that penalty coudl be the game

@antipodean was pulled back enough that the player he pulled from in front ended behind him, I agree on that one, cynical AF

I really, really like DMac's attitude in wanting to mix it with the big boys despite his lack of stature.

But it's a bit fool-hardy to come charging into a mass brawl and try to pick a fight with a loose forward.....

Chiefs have thoroughly deserved the win. Crusaders have lacked direction and leadership when the going got tough. I think on another night they probably finish it off before half time. Tonight they didn't do they and they reacted very poorly in the second.

Chiefs playing with a bit of spirit ,

The Gatland thing seems to be working well thus far

Will Jordan didn't have any impact, quite unexpected.

Rushed it, and was too slow anyway.

The pack isn't what it was. You go through it - compared to previous years where it was absolutely ridiculously stacked with ABs and quality players. Just not there now. Long way back for them I fear (hope?) 🙂

Edit: the Crusaders pack, that is
