There's a bit of a "thing" at the moment about black lives mattering.
Thank God Bob Marley didn't die in 2020 then. I could have really put my foot in at and said "I didn't even know he was white...."
I fucken hate Bob Marley and his music.
Is that unpopular thread still going ?
I got the missus and I Ben Harper tickets a few years back. She was telling her work colleagues about it, said we were off to Bob Marley tonight. Was convinced it was him 🤣

George Blake. Soviet spy.

@Stockcar86 aged 41 with a family at Christmas, just brutal. For wrestling fans who only know WWE, he was Luke Harper.

Never heard of him but sadly he’s about the age that so many of them pass away

Normally we'd blame drugs or the lifestyle, but this was a lung issue (not Covid-related) that basically came out of nowhere.

@canefan He was an amateur and gave it away to concentrate on his teaching career. Couldn't spare the time away from his job.
I don’t remember him playing but being the stats nerd I was ( much tougher in those days relying on the newspaper ) being shocked that a guy averaged even more than Martin Crowe but wasn’t playing.

I remember him being very solid, classy, then he was gone. If he had been able to make a living like they do today he would have been at least on a par with someone like Andrew Jones, or better from what I remember
