I am glad i support the Warriors over a couple of other clubs right now
What the fuck is wrong with the Tigers? The players sound like the softest bunch of fucking snowflakes in the league. No wonder they have a mortgage on 9th, playing finals takes at least some intestinal fortitude. It looks like the roster needs a hard reset.
I took the liberty of bolding the relevant bit of your post. Half of the squad isn't NRL standard. It matters not what Madge does until we can fix that problem. My only hope is the club shows more fortitude than the players and stays the course, setting a culture for success.
they've still got a couple of bad contracts hey need to sort out

not so sure tigs fans will like the idea of losing Nofo to get the Fox on a swap deal either

There's a lot of noisy idiots who support the Tigers. Just look at the Farah episode.

@mariner4life just on making the top 8, do we dare to believe that we are in with a show.
We are on 14 points, currently in 10th (Tigers in 9th on 1; points also) and we’ve got Sharks, Raiders and Manly next 3 games. 2 very winnable games and a tough one against Canberra.

they'll need to win all 3. And i can't see us beating Canberra in Canberra.
If we dip out on the finals on points differential, to me that is preseason expectations exceeded, and post-covid expectations massively exceeded.
-
@mariner4life agree, need to win all three, its the only way we can beat the sharks on points without points differential come into play. Still possible, but unlikely. EDIT : Technically can still achieve 8, even if we lose to Canberra, but it will mean sharks will have to also lose all remaining games.

you guys see the end to the Curtis Scott story? Pretty much thrown out because it was clearly all the cops' fault.
when you look at this, and the Josh Reynolds one, maybe the rule where you are stood down no matter what needs a really good looking at. Because these young guys are getting hammered for shit they didn't do.

In no way am I condoning the actions of Senior Constable Chris Bucknell, but had he been arrested earlier in the night, I expect the NRL would've taken a dim view of his behaviour:
CCTV showed him kick and stomp on a bicycle chained to a pole on Regent St. The court heard that came before he punched the driver’s side door of a taxi and threw his mobile phone at a passing Suzuki Swift.

God the Tigers are a weird side
They aren't quitters, shown by the fact they drag themselves back in to games so often. But that lead they gave up last night was soft as fuck. It's like they don't wake up until the situation is dire.
Benji played alright running forward, but he spends a lot of time wandering around doing fuck all. How much are teams willing to play, and risk, on half a dozen decent passes in a game?
Souths scored a couple of the best tries you will see, and then absolutely clocked off.
Oh, and there was a fight!
-
Warriors down by 6 at half time, still in this although both teams look like they could break with some sustained attack
-
12-12 26 mins remaining, both team have enough errors in them that this goes either way. Warriors have their shot though
-
CHT nails a 40 metre penalty and lead 14-12. You still would not back the Warriors in from here
-
Sharks go in with 9 mins to go, but knock on prevents score, warriors supporters nerves still on edge as they only just hang in there
-
Rudolf who renegs on going to the Warriors scores for the sharks, commentators love that shit, they lead 18-14 5 mins remaining
-
Sharks go in again with a minute remaining, you would have to say warriors season gooooone. Talakai in beast mode tonight...
-
@Nepia that’s just a Cronulla standard cheer isn’t it?😀
