do they? I would imagine there guys back in the day who tore it up during the non-international season, much easier to average high in home conditions against non-test attacks

Trying to think of some of the old timers who played for decades like Congdon but can't imagine their average got high enough.

Actually, he's not one of the 10 on my list, but double-checking against the list (which is evidently a bit out of date), Fat Jesse just sneaks into 10th place. So it's a list of 11.

Promisingly, if I didn't exclude Devon Conway, he'd also be on it.
