2021 British & Irish Lions tour to SA

So yeah as a Scots fan I’m shocked and amazed at eight players in the squad, the most since 1993 I believe ?
But how THE FUCK did Chris Harris ( not even the most famous sportsman called Chris Harris ) make the squad ahead of Jonathan Davies ( also not even the most famous Welsh Rugby player called Jonathan Davies )

First time since 1993 that Scotland have actually been quite good would be my guess.
They’be had other periods of being quite good though too, let’s not forget they were a bit shite at the WC just gone.

That RWC was a bit shite for few other good (ish) teams.

Squidge waxed lyrical on him in one of his vids, I can’t remember which one sadly. Maybe Gats is a fan.

Well, we’ll see I guess but from what I’ve seen the dibbly dobbly Black Caps ( or should I say Young Guns ) battler should still keep his spot as my favourite sportsman called Chris Harris.

I suspect that you will be correct.

Gatland would have had the current Scottish coach in his ear praising some of his players.

Amazing continuity from a RWC final, 14 of 15 that started - The Beast has retired. Compared to NZ after finals, we lose a third of our squad. They'll be hard to beat at home, even with no crowds and a lack of international rugby. A lot of them will still be around in a couple of years for France too.
-
@machpants Though interestingly, this year we will have 21 of the 23 that lost to England available (aside from those injured).
Only Read and SBW are gone from that team - but, a few more from the larger RWC squad - Ben Smith, Crotty, Todd.
-
Irish Prop Andrew Porter out injured. Kyle Sinkler in the Lions squad as he clearly always should have been.
