Is that cos they're in the less arduous prop position ? Only tighthead like that I can think of is Kees Meeuws.....
If you're dominating as a unit, it's less effort per man to be on the winning team. You have more energy left for the other stuff.

For example, anyone who propped with BBBT in their second row had a high likelihood of being around the park a bit. Not a guarantee mind - you still have to hold up your end of things.

    by god you're needy...

If you can get any frilly bits out of your tighthead, then its a bonus in my opinion.

For JCU i have played at least 10 minutes in every position on the field bar 2, 3, and 10. Loosehead was when the game was forced to golden oldies scrums, and the high numbers seem like a lifetime ago.

"East Waikato" or alternatively "Southern Thames Valley"

Te Aroha is actually the provincial capital of southern Thames Valley.

It is and it isn't. Right on the county line. We are Piako/Waikato for local government and services, Waikato zoned in the phone directory (lumped in with Matamata and Mortinsville) and Coromandel electorate for voting!!!

All local sports clubs (from junior through to senior) either play in the Waikato or Valley! For example last year my son competed in both the Valley and Waikato regional athletics meets! He also played in the Waikato wide Yr 5/6 Cricket competition and the Valley 7th Grade rugby comp.

Te Aroha really is in no mans land!!!

Best of both worlds really.
