Plans for Saturday

No, i don't mean how Shag plans to deal with a rush defense and endless recycling, i mean important stuff.
Where are you watching? What's the plan for a ripping saturday of rugby?
It's a cracking day, with the Everest rolling in to the Caulfield Cup (or the other way around) then in to Aus v England and then us. That's me sorted from mid-afternoon, and the type of day i designed my patio around.
In all honesty i am not even sure i will invite anyone around, i'll sit on the couch outside, in front of the TV, start cracking beers from about 1pm. Curse my inability to find a winner. Switch to the rugby after the big races. Steak on teh BBQ between games, feeling loose and slightly toasted by our game.
Bliss.

Heading over to Manly for the two RWC games to watch with my mate - we were flatting together for the 2015 RWC in Manly so hopefully that success will continue. I assume he'll throw some meat on the BBQ. I don't drink when I watch big matches because I hate not being 100% for them.
Will watch the Magpies game at home before heading over the bridge.

I got offered a ticket, but it’s going with a work friend who isn’t a kiwi, and might be supporting Ireland.
There’s a strong chance I may punch them in the face if we lose.
Should I go anyway?
Any opportunity to punch an Irish supporter!

Means no matter what happens, you'll feel okay on Sunday

Hell yeah you have to go, it's win-win, win and all's gravy and lose and you get to punch an Irish supporter in the face (and they wouldn't invite you if they weren't prepared for that outcome).

Haven't planned it out yet, but will hopefully go for a ride. Do some odd jobs around the house and then settle in.
I haven't planned anything for Sunday just in case - no one would want to be around me then.
-
I am mindful of the last time Aus v England and then the AB game in the quarters were one after the other...
At least this time i won't have to miss most of the first half of the first game because a bunch of fat yobs just have to watch Man U labour to a 1-0 over someone rubbish.
Fuck those guys by the way, i hope they love where their club is at now. piston wristed gibbons.

Will also be in Manly, but at my mates little pub - 6pm with the whole fam for dinner to watch England v Aus, the oldest lad staying on for the big dance.
I certainly do drink during games, but I'll watch the replay the next day sober to see what I missed, and where I made a fool of myself by ranting about something that didn't actually happen.

This will be me for the semi's, though with the kid - I typically prefer to watch games at home, and don't mind at all being alone. Like the beers to be close, steak coked how I like it, and being able to watch a replay of something at HT if I want

i love my kids, but they ask too many questions to be allowed to watch tense games with me. I am a terrible father...

I am playing golf at Kauri Cliffs
Take a lot of golf balls.
Just jinx myself, this is the second time I have played it and the first time I got round with only losing 3.

That makes you an excellent father.
I had the whole family around for the final in 2011. My niece kept talking....she now rarely talks to me at all. I think it was "would you STFU" that did it. It was also not during the match but Richie receiving Bill.

You're a good uncle. All you did is set her up to be a better wife in future.

the 2011 cricket world cup semi final was not my best moment.
I have attempted to do away with the swearing and yelling. But my line now is "i watch a lot of meaningless games, you could easily watch and learn with me then. Now is not the fucking time"
