Thats a big cuddly fluffy bunny my friend. Just like me.
does not gel with this:

Up around 6, smash some water & a banana. 90 minutes run, back around 45 mins to kick off. Time make some coffee, pancakes for kids and poached eggs on avocado and tomato toast, finished off with fresh chili, basil.
Watch England vs Australia with 2 of my brother in laws, drink some water and cheer on ... well, nobody actually.
Finish game, slice up some fresh fruit for me and the kids.
All about just being a fluffy bunny, with none of the rest.

Then they can go and punch and irishman.
I'll do it.
punch, not skin and eat one.
Ok, if we lose you can eat one.
I'll have potatoes too I think, and a nice green lampshade.
Am I the only one who read “potatoes” in an Irish accent in my head?

Dunno about you fluffybunnies but I'm going on my son's school excursion to the Reef.

But the teams will be named at some point, so there will be a bit of bickering about that
I think we need another story thread...

In Mexico City for this one... Gonna have the Mrs ring around all the Irish bars in town to find one that’s showing it.
Reading a bunch of trip adviser reviews I reckon this one sounds like a good option.
“It was a good bar until I went to the bathroom and was offered cocaine. Management didn’t seem too concerned about it”
How many tripadvisor stars did that reviewer give it?

Yeah well pretty much a standard spring saturday so...
- net session with the lad in the morning
- home for a coffee and finish off the days form before loading a handful of long winded multi bets
- arvo at home pretending to do odd jobs around the house, lawns etc while really knocking back beers and punting on anything with 4 legs and a long nose running around caulfield or randwick and if I'm struggling that morphetville or eagle farm might get some attention too.
- 530/6pm usually end with a couple of boys from next door turning up to get their kids home for dinner but end up having a beer or three while I spout about the sport of kings and how good spring racing is. Make them stay for the last leg of a multi.
- potentially angry bbq around 630pm following my lack of belief of a redzel three-peat
- settle in to a bit of england vs aus between blowing the last of my cash on the wizard of the west at ascot
- AB's game - probably on the couch with me and my nerves being comforted by abusive texts from aus mates and/or UK family (depending on outcome of previous game)
Yeah same old saturday really
Wife has confirmed she's actually out all day saturday and not in until late that evening so no longer any need to do aforementioned odd jobs around home etc. There is a need though for another box of beers

I've over stocked. Running out would be a disaster

No such thing. You could have a typhoon come through, some other natural disaster, anything could happen. I was relieved to hear that @gt12 had adequately prepared and made it through Hagibis with a surplus.
As for Saturday -imagine if we were to lose, and there was no alcohol?
Or even if we win actually.
Yep disaster. -

Yep disaster. My old lady actually stocked up hard on wine ahead of Y2K. She likes her wine anyway so I think there would usually be at least 5 or 6 cases in the house on any given day but I recall in late 1999 that pretty much half the garage was taken up by her reserves.
-
@mariner4life Oh and take the necessary precautions as well. Like have some in one fridge , some in another, some in the back up fridge, some in the reserve backup fridge. Always wise to have some in a cellar, safe room, or nuclear shelter (preferably all of them).
Oh, and some that the wife can't find.

My kinda girl. Nothing wrong with doomsday preppers, and if the Paddies were to win, things aren't going to be good around here. All forms of sedation should be readily available.
-
I maintain enough alcohol across beer, wine and spirits to get roughly 30 pax drunk on any occasion., just in case. You never know when the lads are going to drop over thirsty.
I may well get through half my supplies on my own if we lose on Saturday night.
-
I remember drinking an awful lot of JD's and coke in the NZ-Aus semi in 2011, and then barely touching a drop in the final!

I was the same during the final, was too nervous to even pick up a bottle during the match. Warmed up well and made up for it afterwards though.
