@Chris-B well I dont buy it, as evidenced on here, plenty didnt even want to play Ireland at this point...I dont think the ones that mater will buy into any of that, there will be zero complacency from them.
I don't think the All Blacks themselves will have any complacency.
I don't see the same desperation among the supporters as we had in 2007/2011.
there isn't at all! Winning back to back has made this all a bit of a laugh really. If this was our QF in 2011 under the same circumstances the country would have run out of stomach ulcer medication.
Yeah - it will take the punch in the face of a hollow Sunday morning when England is suddenly the Cup favourites for us to recall properly what it's like!

Definitely one of the better games of rugby I've ever seen. Scotland really bought it too, terrific comeback to run it extremely close. The Scottish 7 I thought was brilliant, thuggish as hell but he wasn't taking any shit and was on the forefront of the fight back. Definitely one fore the future assuming he can keep out of the ref's eye.

i liked him too. I don't mind a bit of over the top niggle, especially given the stakes. I thought he was their best player

Tony Brown please report to All Blacks camp asap! -

@Old-Samurai-Jack yeah I heard an interview on the radio last week and they said the country has really embraced the RWC, with them handing out lyric sheets for all National Anthems so the Japanese can sing along, locals getting behind with Taxi drivers, people all over wearing Japanese rugby jersies!
Typhoon aside, this RWC, coupled with Japan playing the house down appears to be generating exactly what WR wanted...
Now what else did I see today...oh yes, was something about there still only being 1 host nation that has failed to get out of thier pool...

I had in mind Scotland's second half vs England this year so I thought Japan could still lose this game.
Ritchie was outstanding but was lucky to stay on the field (vicious elbow on the throat of a Japanese player lying on the ground not spotted by the refs) and leniency from BOK on two turnovers (not on his feet in both occasions, with one close to the Scottish try line).
