Taranaki v Auckland

@African-Monkey That was rough. Jackson said it was ruck, but the ruck wasn't formed as there was no cleaner.

had hands on before naki player arrived. still may have been a ruck under the new laws, though

I thought it was a clear penalty personally but whether it was 50/50 or not, he's gotta work on that part of his game.
Why did Taranaki not go for the lineout when they're having success there?
-
Well that puts the result to bed.
It's now up to our best mates Canterbury to decide whether we have an early mad Monday or get spanked by Ta$man next week (wouldn't mind if North Harbour won haha).

Can't see Harbour getting up. Can't see us getting within 20 of Ta$man.
Still, we'll take the chance (insert Italy joke here)

@nzzp Yeah neither but ya never know I guess.
the brutal reality of supporting a side ... ya just can't give up on them.
Compared to pre-2018 years, this year has been excelelnt for Auckland. They often looked liek they cared, which is awesome

@nzzp It's funny in a way as we've only lost 3 games this year and we could still miss out on a playoff spot but we lost them badly against quality opposition too but yeah, it's all part of the fun supporting a team.
Despite the low quality opposition we've come up against in the last 2 weeks, dare I say we're starting to hit a bit of form out wide especially? For all the criticism I've given Papali'i on this thread about his lack of discipline at times, he has made a huge difference to our defence which was very passive without him there.
