    Thinking out loud

If the half back walks past the hind most feet of his last player, and then rolls the ball back, while standing on the side of the ruck, how does that not violate several ruck laws?

Well worked to open the gap, but soft in the finish.

TNW going for a big hit when he needed to just make sure he brought him down.

Now their scrum is gone too, it's going to get ugly.

How many drop goals have been scored thus far?
Are there more than usual? Can't remember seeing this many before.

Samoa need to hold out here after a brilliant touch finder by Hogg.

I thought Lam was a little unlucky there. I thought the maul splintered and Lam took down a single player.

Half time is good point to throw in the towel.

I'm off to bed. Maybe I'll get a wicket for Samoa.

    20 without loss so far.

Scotland knocked on in their last attack. A try would have been harsh.

@Stargazer Porobably less than ever haha. Previous world cups have had a whole heap of them to the point where you would think it was the only way of winning.

TJ Ioane has been excellent. The rest of the Samoans. Not so much.

Other than TJ’s defence, hard to find many if any other positives for Samoa in that half.

    Not the greatest.
Which is a bit of a let down after the cracking games this weekend.
Maybe the second half makes up for it...

Scotland will put a big score on I feel if they use their kicking game and continue to force Samoa to come out of their half as Samoa look to chase the game which is a nightmare to do in these conditions. The rolling maul is also a weapon for the Scots as well.
