Cridge has a bit of pace.
He's due to make an impression.
He's had a pretty decent season. He's not bad when he plays, he's just a foodbill most of the time.

@Nepia Will they stay there though? HB still have Ta$man, whereas the Bay have Southland.
Where clearly saving ourselves for that match against the BaaBaas.

@Donsteppa It certainly is very disappointing, and very unexpectedly so. Just how strong is the wind up your way?
About a 40 point wind i think. BOP should feel bad going into the half with less than 40.

@Magpie_in_aus We must always be optomistic!!!!!!!
-
Wind is blowing towards the town end..I am Sitting around the 10 metre mark,,Tiatia is a very intelligent player ,doing a lot talking in the backline ,directing players..Magpies look half asleep and are getting done at breakdown ,awful game management from Fakatava especially..Hawkes Bay better pick up or this could get ugly

Pretty blustery, but not to the extent of the scoreboard at this stage.

Note to the Chiefs: Trask looks like the ideal replacement for Debreczeni.
Not sure you can read much from this non opposed training run.

We should bring on our other two number 8s and openside to sort out the breakdown.

Never going to forgive Laban for calling Tom Parsons "James Parsons" in the first half
-
WTF, Ref called maul after Parsons knee was dragging on the ground there
