@Stargazer that would require a complete renegotiation of contracts with players and the NZRPA I expect...

The problem is the length of the season by SANZAAAAR effectively making Super Rugby in reality Average Rugby.
I agree with JK here: Kirwan also said the purpose of Super Rugby should be to be a premium competition involving the best players in action.
"I think what it is, is a feeder to the All Blacks and to Europe."

SO we had a couple of years of the ABs trying to beat the rush with speed and dual playmakers, but it isn't working yet!
-
@Stargazer great result from the lads. Did anyone get along to watch this?
-
@Canes4life I was hoping to be able to go, but didn't have the car and public transport would have taken too much time. There will be a report of the game; hopefully some footage as well.

Argentina has 1 team and they’re + 19 thats about + 100 on average if they had 5 teams like us. Likewise SA only have 4 teams so the average is stupid
-
@Yeahtheboys although probably skewed slightly given there was a stat last year (or 2018) of 3 games I think about 58-3 for teams visiting SA?

quite possibly, or maybe one ref did 2 games with huge pen counts f/a and the other was sandwiched in there due to being the other SA ref on duty in SA that weekend.
