Deserved try to the Stags , gotta give them credit they have not stopped trying , been really impressed with their 2nd five Ray Nu’u and the fullback

Southland have just run on a reserve that looks to be about 150kg but suprise suprise he is wearing those grip things lineout jumpers have. Look forward to watching his lifters trying to hoist and hold him up!
I think that's just to stop his thighs tearing the fabric of the universe

Southland can start their review by looking at Pleasants-Tate. What a spastic.

@NTA the kid you referring to is Viliami Tosi..he’s definitely a unit,6’5 120 Kgs only around 20 or 21 ,he just missed out on the NZ under 20s a couple seasons back , played at Rotorua Boys ,if they can get his conditioning right he’s going to be a human wrecking machine ..
I know talking to the Southland assistant coach Dale MacLeod he’s going to be a project moving forward..
Dale Macleod has a brilliant ability to identity talent , he pulled both the 2nd Five Ray Nu’u from Canterbury and the fullback Josh Morsby from Waikato .. -
@antipodean it’s been his down fall throughout his career, is actually quite a skilful player ,but boy what a meat head..
-
@Stargazer not bad when you can play that badly and win quite comfortably in the end..was actually good to see a contest .

What an awful performance ...but 41 points. Strange.
The other strange thing - with the guys wearing their club socks today, and there was only a total of 80 minutes combined from red and green socks - 73 minutes from Dixon and 7 minutes from Donaldson.
Happy with the win, but a bit of a shit game to watch.
I was really impressed with the effort of Flanders. He really threw himself around and tried to get involved with every ruck. I've always been a fan of Cridge though, so not sure who I would rather start at 6. Maybe only room for one of them on the bench when Mikaele-Tuu is fit again, with him starting at 6, Evans 8, and O'Conner at 7. A good problem to have.
The team seemed stoked when McClutchie scored - it seems like they recognize the boy has been having a tough time and are building up his confidence.

yep - he was imvolved in about three or four off-the-ball niggles
