Wellington vs Canterbury

I think Wellington would benefit greatly by subbing Renata off, bringing T Umaga Jensen on and moving Proctor to Fullback. Renata is just so sluggish now.
Plus are the commentators legally allowed to call the Cake Tin - Sky stadium just yet?

this game's a mess. quite frankly the level has downgraded this year.
Rather than the level of rugby going down generally, I think there's more been a shift to other teams. Canterbury is suffering from its own success (losing a lot of players to the ABs in recent years); Wellington has always gone up and down over the years (they're clearly worse this year). But other teams have become better the last few years and play exciting rugby. Ta$man being the best example, but also Auckland. Same in the Championship division.

Wellington have started the second half all guns blazing.
-
Great to see some great pop kicks in behind the defence, not always a percentage play but they are great at keeping defences guessing

The most embarrassing thing to hear about your team when playing Wellington:
"won against the throw by James Blackwell"

I've been really pleased with Hauiti Parapara. Wellington really going well now. Aumua, Fidow and Numia really dominant in their ball carrying. Good signs for the Canes bench next year.

@Stargazer Laban fanboys everyone. It's highly annoying listening to, especially when he needs to mention every school, every single player played for.
-
The front rowers are impressive. Can't wait until these boys turn into men.
-
@Stargazer Yup Canterbury decided not to tackle this 2H

The way they run is improper.

@nzzp Our front rowers are faster than our backs. haha
that was a fantastic run and offload. Brought a smile to my face on a cold and wet Friday night in paradise

For someone playing for a WC spot I haven't noticed Ennor. Aumua however, he has been excellent.
