I think the Kenyans being clever in the tackle, rolling the ball sharply away from themselves, making the ferns, going for ruck dominance and turn over, unable too reach the ball, but in no position to grab it even tho it is out

@canefan I don't think there are world rankings like in XVs. I think standings are based on the World Series, which haven't been played for a while. The last standings date from over a year ago (after 5 World Series legs):

    1 NZ
    2 Australia
    3 Canada
    4 France
    5 USA
    6 Russia
    7 Fiji
    8 England
    etc

You beat the 2nd ranked team in a home/away series 5-1 I believe, so yeah ... yours to lose 🙂

Poor coverage on Sky Sport of the Sailing. All fleets are out sailing today but the two fleets they’ve decided to broadcast have no Kiwi sailors competing in them. A little frustrating.

Carlin Isles is not DK Metcalf or Tyreek Hill or Derrick Henry.

If it's all they do for 12 months, gee i would love to see it.

Of course i wouldn't, because 7s pays what some of those guys make in a week an hour.

    Fixed.

I reckon you'd need to recruit about 50 guys from those positions, and use your 12 months to get them up to speed.

Some guys aren't going to stand up mentally to the change, and some aren't physically going to enjoy 5-7 minutes of flat out exertion.

Once the passing is taken care of - which I think is the biggest hurdle - I reckon the rest of it is piss-easy for 7s.

I played state level (Iowa) in the US during my college days.

Compared with the American lads I played with - many of whom had been great High School football players who couldn't break in to collegiate level - I was as slow as molasses.

But it didn't stop me breaking the line by sidestepping them with my eyebrows.
