@mariner4life what the fuck was he thinking? He and his brother - just the one that has the charity gig at the Bucks - are becoming real arseholes.
The headbutt was a dick move, but do you think he's becoming an arsehole? Personally I love his competitiveness.

He's so vital to his team, he needs to show more self control

Oh that was stupid as fuck alright. But its out of character. McCaw-footrip-esq

@voodoo he’s a good guy doing some stupid things. Getting in peoples faces for no real reason that altercation last week was nothing man. Just so unnecessary. He just needs to relax. Be the happy go lucky guy he was that got him to the top. Yeah he’s imposing but he doesn’t need to “act“ imposing at well. If that makes sense.
-
Yeah Freak lost it and Wagner isn’t that guy which you just want to smack.
Hard to say if he’s trying to up his aggression given there have been comments about him lacking that edge.
Lebron went through that period in Miami where he upped the intensity, wasn’t chippy, but did get in guys faces. But head butting is a red mist moment.
On Lillard, he put on an offensive show today. Ridiculous offensive game from both sides.

Suns go 8-0 against a Mavs team resting KP and with Luka only playing 13 mins. Would have been embarrassing had we slipped up in this one.
The 8-0 record still may not be enough to sneak us into the play offs though.
great run considering they were there to make up the numbers.
But if Portland can't beat the Nets...
-
@mariner4life I'm not sure how it works. Does a Blazers loss see the Suns make it?

yes. Memphis winning this morning gets them to the play-in. Suns now need Portland to lose and they are in. Portland win and Suns are out.
So Portland are basically in a playoff game today

So Portland lose and we play Memphis for a play off spot?
i believe so yes. I think you need to beat them twice, they need to beat you once.

Also, take a second to reflect on the fact that, for the first time since the 96/97 season, the Spurs will not be in the post-season
which means, for the first time that i have been watching the NBA, i don't have a dog in the fight.
-
@mariner4life I'm kinda the opposite. I've been back into the NBA for around four years, which probably coincides with Steven Adams being drafted. But being a Suns fan I've had fuck all to cheer about until we made this run. We still may not make it, but at least it's kept the season interesting until late, bearing in mind that we also had a good start to the season and were never right out of it.
I turned off the NBA from the mid to late 90s until around four years ago so missed the Nash years. I went from watching a really good Suns team in the early to mid 90s to watching dross until this season.
Hopefully bigger and better things to come for Phoenix next year and on. Book and Ayton are franchise cornerstones and there are some quality pieces around them in Bridges, Oubre Jr, Rubio etc.

Heck of a run from the Suns. Not sure how much you can read into these bubble games, but momentum and team comraderie go a long way so this will havr been hugely valuable for them.
Reckon the Lakers would much rather have faced them that Portland though, assuming they get through.
