NBA season 2019/20

I also haven't seen it, but any change that moves us away from international fouls and hack-a-someone has my vote. I'll never understand how officials allowed both to creep into the NBA game. 2 shots and the ball back for any intentional foul - how is that so difficult?

The All-Star game was a good watch. After half time the teams came to play. The third was a tough contest and then the 4th was playoff intensity stuff.
A few old heads that were non-starters - Lowry and Paul - were vital for their sides during money time.
I’m not that hung up about Jones Jnr winning the dunk comp because he did some phenomenal dunks.
I still think Gordon should’ve got the trophy against Lavine though.
And my man Buddy won a high quality 3pt contest.
I think the rookie/sophomore game could do with the Elam finish too.

I watched the Kobe and Gianna Bryant memorial today, really made the dust whip up in the room... 😢. Some extraordinary moments from the speakers. The one that surprised me most was the fiercely private Michael Jordan openly weeping as he spoke about his "little brother". Apparently they were very close

Steven Adams best centre in the nba since the All Star break...
he's had a good week
Also by this metric, Embiid is the best player in teh NBA
-
@mariner4life yes but Embiid is a soft bitch

good point. Adams is far from that.
I saw his stat line the other day and instantly thought "Raz will be prepping his "told you so" post already"

Tim Duncan is unbeaten as head coach
There is nothing the great man can't do

The Lakers beat the Bucks and Clips in the space of 3 days. Their first win over the Clippers this season.
LAL starting to get on a playoff footing. These are statement wins and probably more important for them than the opposition. Nice to know you can win games against your strongest competitors when the time comes to face them again
-
Patrick Beverly is both ridiculous and necessary for the league. He is a cartoonish, annoying little prick. But he plays old school defense and is widely respected. Probably not liked but respected.
The Lakers look pretty unbeatable now. Lebron really is turning me into a fan. Just the fact that at his age he is still easily the best player in the league. I'll offset that though by saying Jordan was doing the same too.
-
What I love it the thunder are ahead of the rockets. Suck on that russ. Also they could finish with higher regular season wins then last 2-3 years
-
Suns beat the Blazers and Giannis-less Bucks over the past couple of days. Think we still have a couple games left in a solid home stand. Need to win a few more though to challenge for a play off spot. Booker seems to have his mojo back now after a quiet patch post-ASW, and Aron Baynes has had possibly the two best consecutive games of his career.

No clear fav. I'd still rank the contenders Clips, Lakers then Bucks, with a decent gap to the next tier of Boston and Houston, then Utah, Toronto, Philly.
Giannis still has to prove himself in a 7 game series when coaches have entire have plans around clogging the paint to keep him out. Can he get out and run enough? Will he pick up his 3pt %? Can his teammates hit the 3 at a high enough clip to spread the floor for him?
WCF's will be fucking epic.
