Cracking game, best of the finals so far. Green missed his chance to be the modern day Kerr/Paxson. Morris is a corpse. KCP was way too aggressive. AD has a peaheart.
Jeez Robinson killed them and Butler was a stud.
We couldnhave a series back if AD is hobbled. Noise of Dragic making progress also.

@voodoo man I had flashbacks of Robert Horry hitting that top of the key 3pt when Green caught that pass and shot.
Miami D on that play was very good - don’t let Bron beat with a shot, force him to pass.
It wasn't a perfect pass, but Green still had 8ft of space. You cant ask for a better look. He was open for a 2nd crack too if Morris had tapped it back to him

@voodoo could have passed around, taken a couple of steps in and nailed a long 2 or fake and drive for the win. Even if he made it the Heat would have had plenty of time to answer
Heat had no time outs so would’ve had to go the length of the court after any made bucket. That’s always tough with little time.

After shooting a brick like that I would suggest LBJ should take it himself next time

Lakers are winning this year. Sometimes you have to follow the story, the narrative, the vibe. And it all points one way.
It's LBJ rolling back the clock at 35 to play some of his best basketball. It's Kobe's legacy guiding the Lakers to a title in the year of his passing. It's Davis proving the doubters wrong.
The victories against the Bucks and Clips really meant something these last few days. As long as neither player gets injured, I have the Lakers beating the Bucks in 6 in the Finals.
Been on this forum for about 15 years, so it's about time I made a prediction that was correct. Well... mostly correct.

oh and congrats to LBJ and the Lakers. Pretty dominant playoff run, they were barely challenged.

Yep. Lebron was dominant. AD chipped in. Rondo was the real surprise packet with his outside shooting. KCP, Caruso and even Morris chipped in with some big moments in the playoffs.
Pretty amazing that Heat got as far given their apparent limitations.

Sorry I'm not sure what that is. Again, I've only been here for 15 years.

This is a good pod for anyone keen to get some player insight into the bubble life

Mike D'Antoni will be an assistant coach with the Brooklyn Nets, reuniting him with his former MVP point guard, Nets coach Steve Nash, the team announced Friday. The Nets announced the hires of D'Antoni, Amar'e Stoudemire and well-regarded assistant Ime Udoka, who spent seven of the past eight seasons on Gregg Popovich's staff with the San Antonio Spurs.
This looks like a great decision by Nash and the Nets.
