probably accurate - if Bam and Goran are out, it'd be embarrassing if it wasn't
Pretty weak performance today from them
Edit - I should add, it was an extraordinary effort from Butler. Just amazing. I'm not his biggest fan, but credit where it's due, that was awesome.

you know what i fucking hate about basketball? players leaving the court without even a handshake.
LBJ leaving before the game even finished though? fucking hell. I know it's not him, but i just hate this look.

Funny, what I always hated about playing basketball was the excessive fucking handshakes! I am happy to tap a few hands at tip off and after the game, but fuck off with your handshake at HT or the start of each quarter. And if any fluffybunny tried to give me a tap just for attempting a Free Throw, they're going to be left hanging (other than a bum tap, thats always ok)

That’s cold bro.
I don’t mind too much them leaving the court in a playoff series if the clock is just going to run out. What I didn’t like is that Lebron and one other left the court and there was a shot clock violation. It forced two subs - Green and Dudley - to come on so the ref could restart play for a few points of a second.

Ahh, I didn't even see that. My feed on delay from nba.tv was terrible, and a mate basically gave the result away to me earlier. So I really only saw Q1 and patches of Q4. No flow. Skipped the last minute even.
My comment was much more general, not at all specific to this game.
But I can see how anyone would be offended by Green and especially Dudley coming onto the court! 😎

@voodoo it was just a bit amateurish with the ref trying to restart play and players and coaches on the Lakers bench looking at each other like they didn’t know what was going on. All cool Bron, you’re halfway down the tunnel...

Butler was more mouthing back to AD for some of his comments about Heat being in trouble. Jimmy after a bucket, Lakers call timeout and he says “they’re in trouble, they’re in trouble”
-
Game 4 was great and could've gone either way. KCP and offensive boards in the 4th quarter the difference. Neither Lebron or AD played particularly great but they did enough to get it done. They get an extra day off now before game 5, will be interesting to see if Dragic tries to do a Willis Reed.
-
Offensive rebounds and 3s were the problem for the Heat. Lakers as a team played well down the stretch.
Real shame we aren’t seeing Dragic out there instead of the rubbish play Nunn is putting in.

Lakers had 10 offensive rebounds to Heats 7, defensive rebounds were even. Dont think that was a deciding factor. And 3's were pretty much even also, 36% vs 34%?
To me the Heat just don't have the offensive weapons to challenge a really good Lakers defence. Jimmy is everyone's darling right now, but the truth is that he is limited. We saw that when he knew he had to shoot the 3, and couldn't hit it.
They definitely missed GD. While I like Herro and Duncan, there is almost zero history of rookies and 2nd year guys lighting up the finals from the outside.
-
@voodoo in a close game 14 v 11 on made 3s is a key difference. And it was more when the O boards occurred. Heat narrows lead and then Rondo or someone snags one and bucket.
Defence was good too. But I thought Heat D was pretty good also.
-
Also it’s strange with Jimmy on the 3 because this season he is really down on attempts and even more so since the bubble.
Just two years ago at the wolves he was attempting 4.5 a game and shooting it a pretty respectable 38%. Something has happened there.
-
The Heat refuses to go away and are making a game of it.
Lakers let the heat get away early in the 2nd but have pegged it back to 60-56. Jimmy is a mutha fucking gangsta! He may never win a championship but to me, he's proven he's a franchise player. 22 - 6 - 6 is what you need from your best player going into the half with the series on the line. I was worried he was going to get ejected for trying to lift Howard after a bit of a set to. But calmer heads prevailed, thankfully.
Lebron doing Lebron. 21-3-4. Late in the second lakers picked up their defence.
-
@raznomore it’s a good game. Kendrick Nunn has finally come into the series and being more aggressive like we see before the bubble.
-
@ACT-Crusader Herro is horribly off
