Yes my boys the Heat through to the Finals against the Lakers even if we go down I’m the Finals I’m very happy I didn’t think we would get past the Bucks but to make it to the big dance, very impressive.
An amazing achievement and they will be a threat in the finals. Can't see them winning though, not if Lebron is fit
-
I can see the Heat winning. A lot is riding on the Lakers supporting cast. So far they've had good contributions out of Rondo, Kuzma, KCP and even Dwight Howard. None have been consistent performers but all have had moments where they have chipped in 10-15 points at crucial times.
If that falls away in the face of the Heat's superior defence and hustle, then it could come down to Lebron and Davis trying to carry the team themselves. Meanwhile Herro and Bam are in great form, Butler is a great general and a few other guys have stepped up too.
I think the Lakers will win, but a Heat win wouldn't be the upset of the century.

Does Tom Brady count too?
I don't think he does. He's no longer dominant, probably not even top 5 QBs in the NFL now
Yeah you're probably right, if it's all about how good he is right now. But he was the best still at 39.

You have got to give plenty of credit to Erik Spoelstra and way he has gotten the misfits from Miami to the final. This hopefully will be a good series.
Riley and Jimmy B too
And Bam and Iggy.
Bam dominated game 6 and showed some ticket after a stink game 5. He was defending, rebounding, bringing the ball down, scoring, setting up team mates.
Iggy’s IQ came to the fore in this series. You can see the little stuff he does on both ends that were a feature of the Warriors success.

Doc Rivers gone as Clippers coach.
Didn't think they would do it but it's the right move.
Mark Jackson...
-
@ACT-Crusader Stephen A is that you?

It is a plumb job, they will need to pick wisely

They have a veteran team, so a development coach is not going to fit. Can't think who is out there right now. D'Antoni is not everyone's cup of tea but you can't dispute his record, he's proficient with guard based teams and off contract.... If I was him and LA called I'm jump ship in a heartbeat

He'll be on his high horse about sacking a black coach.

D'Antoni has a worse playoff record than Doc Rivers! Clippers should steer well clear of him.
Just because it's a veteran team doesn't automatically mean they need a veteran coach. The Raptors were a veteran team and Nick Nurse worked out terrifically well.

Point nicely made. Just like player drafting, coach selection is a bit of a lottery

They will leave it too long and end up with tyronn lue.
Both the Van Gundy's have been saying they want to coach again. Not the worst options.
Looking forward to a Steve Ballmer hyped up introduction regardless of who they go with.
-
I would hope that Rivers is on the radar for OKC but D'Antoni can fuck right off.
As for the Clippers, I think Sam Cassell would be a great choice. I understand there are other more experienced coaches but he's been an assistant for what seems like an age. Time to step up.
