@Bovidae 100% up there in recent memory with the lebron chase down one vs GS.
Its hard with defensive plays if someone makes a big time steal or interception its usually put down to poor offence. Something like this is clear cut and so nice to watch.

Amazing from the Nuggets but think the Lakers beat them in 4 or 5. AD is one of the only guys in the league who can guard Jokic effectively, and people have forgotten what a bad defender Jokic himself is. Can see the Lakers big men abusing them inside all series long.
This upset was more a case of Nuggets getting unsustainably hot, and Clippers going ice cold without the cohesion to change things.
Lakers-Celtics finals would be epic as always! Although I like the Heat more and am rooting for them, think Boston edges it in 6 or 7, Hayward ocming back will be key.

Is Doc Rivers the most overrated coach in the league?
He certainly will be under even more pressure to win.
A photo of the Bam block on Tatum. Magic Johnson tweeted after the game that it was the best defensive play he had ever seen in the playoffs.
Not to disagree, but as an aside, does any modern day celebrity have a worse twitter game than Magic?

Very happy for the Nuggets. Joker and Murray are great to watch and they have some solid supporting pieces that know how to play together.
Very disappointed with the Clippers. Lack of chemistry was one problem, but the biggest issue was Rivers not making adjustments in that third quarter. It was glaringly obvious what needed to change in their offence. But nada.
Tatum is a fantastic talent but that close out play in regulation was dumb. Then his OT period wasn’t great as well. Phenomenal block from Bam. Dragic, Butler and Herro have been huge.

Fucken A. He's transitioning to being a bonafide superstar. Always been a star but now he's looking like and elite.
Can't believe he's been labelled a locker room cancer by Chicago and Minny, and he was underappreciated in Philly. Snowflakes the lot of them

Yeah nah. He was toxic. But I’d say Pat Riley and Spoelstra know how to manage someone like that better than most in the league.

When the others didn't feel the same way as him he wouldn't back down and escalated. Him, especially Riley and Spo are the perfect union

He’s probably reached a point in his career that this is his chance too.
Today’s game had a very Warrior-esque feel to it. Duncan moving and shooting like Klay. Ball movement and defensive pressure. Iggy earning his pay cheque as an assistant coach 😎

I dont think you can argue against TGF. They were on pace for a 70 win season, his offensive numbers were amazing and he was DPOY.
Its funny who gives a shit about it though - or who doesn't. TGF, Harden, Westbrook on one side, Lebron, Kawhi, Curry on the other...

LBJs Lakers brutalising Denver in game 1. Jokic was in foul trouble early and never recovered after having to battle AD, McGee and Howard. Murray also in foul trouble early as well. LA got good contributions from many, including Rondo with 7 points 9 assists. The series is far from over, LA show how they plan to win out
