Be careful what you wish for. 1999 looms like a dark cloud over everything we do, a glorious period which we will never match, but we constantly yearn for.
It gave a young me the taste of victory so sweet I've been chasing it ever since, like a junkie craving a hit. Yet deep down I know the sensation can never be replicated.
It's the same reason I've never bedded a supermodel or been to the summit of Everest. Obviously I could do both if I wanted, but it would ruin my future.
This is a surprising post given 1999 never happened.

I was on viagogo soon after yesterday to see where it's at.
968 was the lowest offer ... and that was in the non-drinking family section. After that it popped up to 1600 ish.
