Who do we bowl now. Keep strangling? Try for wicket #6?
strangle. Hitting on this pitch looks impossible - just keep them from scoring quickly and cross fingers
They can't even get ones and twos. Unbelievable

We have to find 5 more overs from Williamson/Neesham/CDG. I think each of them should get an over at least.
I am worried about Henry's last 3 as well. Get those in asap.

Tell ya what, Kane and Ross' innings look remarkable now

Really good stuff from Santner.

We need to get these two out. Especially Dhoni. He could easily take it away from us. 6.5 an over is easy.
They just need to avoid death by singles and twos with Dhoni pushing the gaps. That's the only way I can see them doing it (which might be a good argument for Kane to bowl a couple here)
No way scoring 6.5 an over the traditional way expecting a boundary every 6-8 balls is going to be possible on this deck. Everyone who has tried to push the pace has looked average.

Dhoni's tactics later in his career has been to take it deep and then try and hit them home at 10s and 12s to finish. He's too old to push ones and twos like he used to.

I think India's plan is to get to 40 overs needing 8-9 an over and back set batsmen to make the push. Good plan actually. RR is fine as long as they don't lose more wickets for the next 12 overs.

blimmen Santner, 5 overs, 5 for 1. c'mon BC's

Of course it's good Williamson and Taylor gave them the blueprint - although the interlude didn't help the final surge I suspect many including the Indian batsman thought NZ were making the pitch look worse that it was.

The longer Dhoni doesn't score the more concerned I am
