Chiefs 2020
-
“From material to design, the new Gallagher Chiefs away jersey has been crafted to reflect and honour the natural contributing waterways of the Chiefs region. The jersey is a part of a new adidas range – made with Parley Ocean Plastic, which is recycled plastic waste intercepted from beaches and coastal communities before it reaches the oceans.”
Surely a jersey made from rubbish would be more appropriate for the Blues

"Away" jerseys. Why?
Alternative jerseys in case of a clash. Sure.
Light coloured jerseys when playing on hot sunny days. Yep.
But "away" for the sake of it? Dumb as a bag of hammers.
Edit: especially when this "away" jerseys bear absolutely no resemblance to your normal team colours.

But if you have an alternative jersey anyway ...

I can't think of any other reason though.

The idea is that by wearing them for all the away fixtures people are more likely to buy them. Personally I think that's rubbish because people will buy the jersey they like regardless of whether they wear it only when it clashes or every away fixture.

Torn VMO and an upcoming surgery 💉 means I need a new hobby for 12 weeks 🎷 #SaxToBeMe
Can I suggest he spend his time more usefully like studying videotapes of matches featuring decent scrummaging props and comparing them to the those "featuring" himself in an endeavour to learn how to become an effective scrummager?
