Chiefs 2020

I’ll be intrigued to see how Cruden goes. He was borderline hopeless for Montpellier. Do the chiefs get a returning gem or Luke McAlister Mk II?

@Bovidae Damn, that's lucky, I would have been Highlanders bound if he was signed on and fast running out of teams to support in Super rugby.
Only one left.
@Nepia would never support the Tahs.

@Nogusta That surprises me. When I was at Wesley watching a game in which Vaa'i was playing in I was talking to a local Wesley supporter who was very complimentary about him, saying he had some brains not just athletic ability. He only turns 20 in Jan so plenty of time.

- Do the Chiefs have designated head on head training sessions? They must be batting above average.
- I wish they'd f-off with this "clubs" bullshit for Super rugby.
What is it if not a club?

Franchise. They've never been clubs in the NZ sense. They've never been provinces.
-
@Nepia oh yeah. Fair point. Clubs shouldn’t be for profit.
-
@Bovidae Thanks for posting that, it clears up things for the moment that Super Rugby designates them as "Teams". Heaven help us if anyone starts referring to the All Blacks as a "Club" along the lines some misguided people outside of this website forum can be prone to do when referring to the Super Rugby TEAMS.

kanehames On the way back! It’s been a weird couple of years learning how and what concussion effects. Lifts like this can usually give me tons of symptoms! 2020 could be a year of rebuilding and a year of giving back to Rugby and either late 2020 or early 2021 could be a great time to stick my head back in the spokes! Until then, plenty or refereeing, coaching and gym! And hopefully a fair bit of commentary!
