Blues 2020

@Nepia Akira can hardly make the Blues 23 atm, he was overweight in Auckland's ITM Cup campaign and has struggled for confidence. Atleast with Prinsep you know he's going to turn up in shape, he's going to put out unflashy, but consistent performances and as Coles has said, he will keep everyone honest at training. In saying that and as I have said in previous comments, if I had a choice both players wouldn't even be in my squad, so this argument is kind of pointless. Akira can stay at the Blues for all I care.
Aslong as the Canes keep developing Flanders, I'm happy.
-
You've asked about when Akira is off contract multiple times. You've said you want him at the Canes
You aren't fooling anyone by changing your story nowFYI Akira is still under contract..
Anyway let get this thread back on track. It's getting filled up with some crap about mediocre Canes players
I look forward to seeing who the Blues recruit next. The bad old days of not having a quality ten seem so long ago. Imagine trying to recruit players without a quality ten? It must suck for the supporters of teams like that. They would be left defending imports like Prinsep
-
You're right, I have asked about when Akira's contract ends but I haven't said anything about actually wanting him. I do think he would be better suited in a different environment though because let's be frank the Blues have been a shit show for a long time now.
Lol the Blues could hardly beat a 12 man Hurricanes side the other week, don't start getting all patronizing now that you have Beauden, we all know the Blues are still the laughing stock of New Zealand rugby (just look at your hooker). A couple wins doesn't change that. Also the fact that the Blues need ex Hurricane first fives and a Canterbury coach to help them get those wins really shows how poor the Blues really are.

@Hooroo only way the Blues can get higher is by playing more games than everyone else.
Or beating the dross below us, away.
A bit of mental damage from that loss on display here. And great comedy

Or win more?....

@Canes4life This is the equivalent of @duluth posting a pic of a Porsche and you responding with a pic of your Mazda RX7 made to look a Porsche.
-
Actually it makes sense to post a picture of Jordie in the Blues thread considering how much Jordie contributed to the Blues winning the game vs the Canes.
-
Maybe so, but the Ferrari version of Beaudy will always remain the best version.

@Dice looks right at home here.... A colleague of mine is mates with his partner and doesn't think he will leave but who knows in this day and age.
Didn't you already use this story for someone else?
-
@Dice no? Same colleague was ironically a bridesmaid at Prinsep's wedding. I think they are all from Chch so her source would be pretty accurate I'd say. In saying that I thought Beaudy would never move so anything could happen.
The Canes will be throwing the kitchen sink at him to keep him in Wellington, especially as he is starting to mature.
