This is not what should really be said as the only comment about the AFLW on this thread but
Erin Phillips is not just a phenomenal athlete, she is also a fox.
There are a couple of good sorts floating around the league actually.

well at least by the end of the season teams could actually score points. Some of the games from the early rounds...

Looked like midget rugby (that's what we called 6 and 7 year olds back in the day), a moving gathering of players. Umps threw the ball in from 20 metres inside boundary line. Having said that, sure equal pay please! -

That's what astonishes me; the crowds are bigger than you'd expect accounting for family members of players and a few lesbians. Are the tickets still free?

Sorry @shark but there is something seriously wrong at Melbourne. There are getting a touch up from Essendon. Their defensive 50 is ridiculously open and they are getting scored on with nearly every entry.

im expecting Richmond to get touched up by GWS today ,
Just dont think they can cover the losses Rance , Riewoldt, Caddy , Grimes , Houli , grigg ,
Plus Gws up there are no slouches anyway , thats a tough game at the best of times

@antipodean yeah, apparently the tickets were free. Spoke to an Adelaide oval member, the gf, they catered for 25k free spectators, got 53k. No turnstile revenue.
Make of that what you will.

First 3 rounds have been nuts
Obviously as a Lions supporter i am up and about, and sourcing Grand Final tickets...
The Suns are 2-1, and were a smart piece of play from joining us at 3-0
Geelong are flying, 3-0 and have beat 3 teams most picked preseason to be top 4 (including me)
West Coast had a set back round 1, but are now going again, beating Collingwood again at the G is pretty big.Richmond? Wheels off? Not playing well, all the injuries they have avoided for the last couple of years coming at once. Martin to be suspended? Looks ugly at the moment
Melbourne look way off.
Adelaide look old in some spots. Their captain is just about their worst player as well. Losing twice already in Adelaide will be a serious concern.of course, 3 rounds in is waaay too early to make any firm predictions about anything. It's just been a very unexpected start to the season.

Yep richmond are in deep shit ,
Now its Rance Riewoldt Cotchin , their leadership group all gone , plus dusty ( who has been a bit shit anyway but is usually their best ) plus others gone , and they have had such a dream run with injuries , the guys coming in , almost half a team , are low on experience due to being very seldom needed ,
Oh well , the last 2 years were fun ,
