AFL 2019

Richmond should be strong favourites - if nothing else they've been through all the GF fanfare before, and know what it takes.
But... GWS have ridden the underdog wave throughout these finals, much like the Bulldogs did in 2016. Getting Toby Greene and Lachie Whitfield back is huge, and getting Coniglio back would be even huge-r.
I expect it to be a tightly fought first half, but the Tigers to get out to a 4-5 goal lead at 3QT which they won't relinquish.

get someone to lay Dusty out at the first bounce, take the suspension next year, and she's apples....

If I were Leon Cameon I'd be looking for a Toby Greene fly-kick to Dusty's head in the first few minutes.

I think this game will be closer than many are picking ,
Gws have plenty of talent and have given Richmond plenty of problems in recent times, it’s one each this year.
They got us earlier in the year when we had injuries, and we got them later in the year in the same situation, so I guess it’s hard getting a read on that.
Both are in good form now

@barbarian another thing,
the MCG is in richmond, richmond has more pubs per square kilometre than any other place in australia, they will be all showing the game,Punt road oval , richmonds training ground and club rooms is right next to the MCG , they will have big screens up of the game ,it will be packed,
, there may not be that many richmond fans able to get their hands on a ticket, but there will be yellow and black everywhere outside on the streets
Ah, yes. The Swan Hotel is or at least was a pearler. And my old local, thr Bridge Hotel. Those were the days.
I guess I can get behind the Tigers for this. I certainly have no love for western Sydney. They probably should always have been my second team given I lived in Richmond, I guess.

Made it to the next hotel to see the second half. Disappointing to have given up a GF seat for the RWC, but very, very happy right now. Time to get a bit pissed. 😺🍻
-
Shit game. Tigers on another level, Giants never even threw a punch.
-
Didnt expect GWS to fold that easily ,although i was half expecting us to run over the top of them late, but not that easily to be honest,
The pace of the game was red hot early and although they were hanging in there, live at the ground you could sense it was only just, then the dam wall broke and it was see ya later,
After all the years of garbage , its a fun time to be supporting the Tigers right now, Yellow and Black !!!

Marlion Pickett's a heck of a story
How good did he play?
Didn't actually watch it for the first time in years.
Was out and about and by the time I got home and turned on the tele it was something like 73-12.
Good to see he kicked a goal.

Kicked a goal, assisted at least 4 more. Repeatedly got the ball inside 50, late in the 3rd had gained the most distance on the ground. One highlight reel clearance. Not only at home, he excelled, and was playing on the ball by the 2nd quarter.
