The talk is that there is a lot of value to be had in rounds 2 and 3 in this draft.

    Tomorrow will be very interesting.

Expect a lot of WRs to be taken early tomorrow.

Some news from the second round of the draft:

    • Arizona trades a 2020 5th round pick and OB Josh Rosen to Miami for a late second round pick. Arizona traded up last year to jump Miami and draft Rosen. Miami now gets Rosen for cheap.

    • Kansas City drafts a speedy WR to potentially replace Tyreek Hill who is probably about to go to jail.

    • Denver trades up to get Mizzou QB Drew Lock which won't please Joe Flacco.

    • 49ers select two WRs, one speedster and a big WR.

It is crazy that 3 first round QBs from last year's draft are now in the one division. AFC East.

Meanwhile 2 first round QBs from this year's draft are in the NFC East.

    Fascinating storylines to follow.

Brady's successor found in the fourth round - Jarrett Stidham from Auburn.

Shades of Brady: Pats' Stidham 7th QB selected

Shades of Brady: Pats' Stidham 7th QB selected

The Patriots are hoping to strike gold twice, drafting Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham with the 133rd overall pick. Like Tom Brady in 2000, six quarterbacks were taken ahead of Stidham.

Reuben Foster tore his ACL in the 2nd play of OTAs today. That's him done for the season. Even disregarding the off-field stuff the dude just cannot stay healthy.

I'm assuming that is only viewership in the States for GOT and NFL? I would say world wide GOT would have been much greater?

    @Hooroo

Also, HBO and NFL are on slightly different platforms (extra subscription cable versus basic cable/free to air), and that number (13.6 million) doesn't include other streaming (i.e., only via cable connection I think) which puts it up towards 20 million - about the same as the premium weekly games (like Monday night football, Thursday night game of the week) - and a record for HBO I think.

It's still miles below the Super Bowl though of course, which has like a third of the population watch (about 100 million).

@gt12 I wonder what the World wide viewership was for GOT?

When you take in all platforms (including illegal streaming) it would be in the hundreds of millions for sure.

Pre-season kicked off yesterday with the Falcons vs Broncos. Was a snoozer.

Other news: Aaron Donald came in at #1 in the Top 100 Players in the NFL.

It's incredible that a guy that small is so dominant on the inside. First DT to have 20 sacks in a season.

Did he even get a sack in the post season? I think most teams nullified him.. but no surprises for him to be #1.. you have to double team him, like the good teams did in the playoffs..

Really surprised to see Brees in at #2..
I really thought Mahomes had a shot as #1..
But yes, let's let have 6 time superbowl winner have more ammunition to drive him this season.. have 2 QBs ahead of him in the rankings lol

@mimic They vote on the rankings at the end of the regular season, so I think it's fair that Mahomes and Brees were ahead of Brady. Both had awesome seasons.

The list is always weird every year though, guys like DeForest Buckner, Chandler Jones, Kevin Byard and Quenton Nelson didn't even make the list this year.

This is the real #1 though.:smiling_face_with_open_mouth_smiling_eyes:

Ex-British & Irish Lion Christian Wade does rather well with his first touch for the Buffalo Bills in a NFL preseason game against the Colts.

If you like Hard Knocks, the first episode is on youtube.

This week's episode could be interesting with AB threatening to retire because he can't wear his old helmet anymore.

Another big play from Christian Wade in a preseason game, showing the skills you'd expect of someone who played international Rugby. Talk that he could become the Buffalo Bills starting Running Back. I expect a lot more interest now in disgruntled but fast Rugby players from NFL scouts.

@sparky I'll be surprised if he got close to being the starting running back. If you're playing in the 4th quarter in a pre-season game, the truth is, you're well down the pecking order on the team. Good to see him making some plays though.

Word is that it’s Perry and Yeldon fighting for the last RB spot.

Good on Wade for making the most of his preseason opportunities though. Got people talking.
