NFL 2019

He broke Trevor Siemian's ankle with a late hit earlier this season too. The NFL doesn't generally do long suspensions (Did Burfict ever get more than 2 games for any of his shit?) for on field conduct. That's pretty disgraceful though - be amongst the worst incidents I've seen.
-
Garett gone for the season and will need to meet with the commissioner prior to being able to return in 2020. Given his comments since, I imagine he'll show the appropriate amount of contrition and get reinstated.
Will be very interesting to see what happens next season. Presumably he'll be on a short leash and the stuff that was just a fine early this season will be a suspension.
Pouncey (the Steelers player who kicked Garrett) gets three games. That seems reasonable given every thing else.
I think the NFL has done a good job of responding to this one.

this season is a little bit nuts
The Jets absolutely towel up the Raiders, who were looking like being in the hunt for the playoffs
The Redskins won a game!
The Panthers miss 2 extra points and a handy field goal to lose to the Saints by 3
It's still looking very much like the Niners, Seahawks, and the Packers are all competing to see who plays New England in the SB
-
Certainly feels like whenever a team starts to get a little momentum they get upset. The Jets now get the Bengals followed by the Dolphins. That potentially gets them to 6-7 coming into their toughest remaining game vs the Ravens.
Just quietly, this Jets defence might be coming right. They've consistently been one of the best run defences in the league and Arthur Maulet (bounced around teams for the last few years without ever getting snaps) and Bless Austin (6th round pick) are showing like they might be good enough to start in the NFL. It's not impossible they win out down the stretch. 9 and 7 probably wouldn't be enough for a playoff spot though, so they'll be left ruing a loss to the Dolphins and the one point loss to the Bills that included about three missed kicks.

Niners absolutely torch the Packers.

@mariner4life Welcome back George Kittle.
-
Jackson goes alright doesn't he? 5 passing touchdowns, and 95 rushing yards.
What the hell has happened to Todd Gurley? Is he busted now? He's shit this year.
-
Ravens D is playing so well, but gets no love because of how ridiculous Lamar is! M.V.P. of the League!

When Gurley came out of college there were concerns over his knees and fears he would only be a one contract nfl player. He signed a huge second deal 12 months or so ago and sure enough his knees have given him trouble and he isn't the same back.
Ravens v 49ers next week is going to be brilliant.

Miami's trick play to beat the Eagles today was pretty bloody cool
-
Niners v Saints was an awesome game. Some bloody good teams in the NFC
With 3 games to pay, the playoff picture is pretty sorted
Ravens and Chiefs are already in, with Ravens having the 1 seed at the moment.
Patriots and Bills still both a chance to win their division, and you would expect the 2nd place team to get a wildcard slot
Houston and the Titans in the hunt for their division and a wildcard spot.
Steelers pretty much the only other team with a hope of a WCIn the NFC
One of those dogshit teams has to win the NFC East. Probably with a losing record.
Saints are in
Niners and Seahawks still both a chance to win the division, both will make the playoffs
Green Bay and the Vikings battling for their division, again both probably make the playoffs
Rams the only other a team with a chance to make it. Yesterday was big for them.Whole league is wide open. New England look vulnerable, their offense is shithouse, and their defense is really good but not great. The Chiefs aren't quite what they were last year. The Ravens are balanced, and have incredible offensive weapons. Fuck knows who wins. Probably NE because they have made a deal with the devil.
Niners, Seahawks and the Saints are all legitimate chances to win, and so is GB again.

Rams go down vs the Cowboys, which all but kills their season.
The Seahawks and 49ers will meet in the final week and could be a virtual division championship game. Seahawks should beat the Cards, and the 49ers will have a tougher time but ultimately overcome the Rams.
AFC East is also still in play. The Bills play the Pats next week and then both have a soft finish, so whoever wins should take out the division.
AFC South the only other division in play. Texans have the advantage but still have to play the Titans again, so there should also be a grandstand finish there too.
Technically NFC east is in play too, but eurgh.
