@Hooroo nobody likes a corrector, especially when @mariner4life is building up steam!
Like you, I do enjoy reading a good ole rant from @mariner4life, just not at the expense of the Godfather of Fern Cricket.....
Exactly - I'm taking my ball and going home

Get back to the ODI team - you still need
5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11
All of them played in ODIs in this century.
Oram fell down the batting order late in his career, I nominate him.
No Oram fell into the close but no cigar category

Must be Boult at 11. Latham at 5?
Latham is a tick at 5. Not Boult for 11, he's been out a few times.
Ooooh, what about Mitch McLenaghan? He's turned himself into a handy pinch hitter but I think he started out batting 11.

Ronchi at 8 maybe? Can't remember where he batted most (probably 7 though), but for a while we would have had Elliott and Anderson ahead of him.
Fern favourite Luke Ronchi, one massive score and fuck all else.....
Cracked me up once when he came in and the commentators said something like "he'll want to get a decent score, he's been a bit out of form of late...."
"of late" pretty much being his whole fucken career.

It is - just ahead of Taylor who has a phenomenal average of 52.65 batting at 4 (definition of phenomenal in this case is being ahead of Martin Crowe)

I think anyone googling "Luke" and "Ronchi" would figure that out but thanks for the clarification
