2019 Rugby World Cup

Such a shame, from what I have read/heard Japan has really embraced the RWC and audience/viewer numbers are through the roof which on one hand shows they needed to award the hosting rights to Japan, but during Typhoon season...

So if RSA/Canada and ABs/Italy were scheduled in reverse the Boks would be eliminated? If the ABs lost to South Africa in the opening fixture (without a Bonus point) and all else was the same they would be eliminated?
Waaaay to close to close to the sun there.

Having a 2 week break is not ideal before a QF.
that's true, but I'm not sure Ireland will be THAT much better prepared following their hit out against Samoa. I think the lads and the coaching staff are well drilled enough these days to simulate the gametime effect, doing more contact work etc - they'll probably have Lurch run head first into a brick wall for 60mins instead

Maybe they should organise a pick up game with Italy on Saturday at a training ground out of the typhoon area. Probably issues with insurance though I guess.
